The role: Senior Product Marketing manager, FANHub 
The Genius Sports Product Team is looking for a smart, talented, and experienced Senior Product Marketing manager to lead our product marketing initiatives for FANHub, the world's first sports activation platform.  The Senior Product Marketing Manager will help define the go-to-market strategy that drives FANHub adoption and accelerates customer growth.        

Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, this pivotal role will be instrumental in driving our company's growth by crafting compelling FANHub narratives, establishing Genius Sports as a thought leader in the ad tech industry, and positioning the company as the leader in sports advertising.  This role will be the architect of our product messaging and narrative for FANHub, ensuring clarity and alignment across all sales and marketing functions.    

The ideal candidate will possess deep ad tech marketing expertise, a proven track record of building messaging and keynotes with executives, collaborating effectively with PR, AR, brand, core marketing and product management teams, and have a strong technical aptitude. They will be an expert storyteller, capable of translating complex product capabilities into clear and compelling value propositions that resonate with our target audience. 
  

Key Responsibilities:  
Thought Leadership & Narrative: 

  • Create thought-provoking ad tech content, including articles, blogs, white papers, presentations, and social media engagement, to establish expertise and drive brand awareness for FANHub
  • Represent the company and FANHub at industry events, conferences, and webinars, delivering compelling presentations and engaging in meaningful discussions.
  • Collaborate with internal experts and external influencers to develop and amplify thought leadership content and messaging related to FANHub and the future of sports advertising
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for thought leadership initiatives and to refine the narrative for Genius Sports and FANHub.
     

Product Messaging & Storytelling: 

  • Develop and articulate a cohesive FANHub product narrative that highlights the value of our solution(s).
  • Define a clear FANHub value proposition and key messaging pillars and proof points that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
  • Craft compelling FANHub and sports advertising storylines, including keynote narratives that resonate with key customer segments (sportsbooks, brands, agencies) and drive market adoption.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that supports the FANHub product narrative and thought leadership goals.
  • Oversee the creation and management of sports advertising content for the company blog, ensuring regular updates and alignment with messaging priorities.
  • Drive the development and organization of a robust FANHub resource library on the web, featuring valuable content such as white papers, case studies, and product documentation.
  • Analyze content performance metrics to optimize content strategy and identify areas for improvement.

Strategic Leadership & Collaboration: 

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to sales & marketing leadership, contributing to overall marketing and GTM strategy, thought leadership, and planning. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across sales, marketing, communications, and product management, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment. 

Technical Acumen: 

  • Develop a strong understanding of our FANHub product and the underlying technology.
  • Work closely with product management to effectively translate technical features into customer-centric benefits.
  • Work closely with product management and development teams to ensure alignment on GTM timeline, product roadmap and messaging
     

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5-7 years of product marketing experience, with a strong background in messaging and GTM strategies.
  • Proven experience in all aspects of ad tech product marketing
  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver coordinated marketing and product experiences.  
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging that drives feature adoption and customer engagement.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful cross-product marketing initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of GTM strategies and launch methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on action and results.
  • Technical savvy with ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.

The salary for this role is based on an annualized range of $140,000 – $200,000. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.

Genius will be returning to the office 4 days a week, and this will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively face-to-face with colleagues in our Los Angeles office or New York City office.
