Own the Snyk Studio product strategy for agentic security, drive integrations with developer tools, define guardrails and governance for AI agents, engage customers, track metrics, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable security solutions.
The summary above was generated by AI

Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.

Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.

It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.

Why this role?

As a Senior Product Manager for Snyk Studio, you’ll be at the bleeding edge of the AI revolution in software development. You won’t just be managing a tool; you’ll be defining how security lives within the new world of agentic workflows and AI coding assistants.

You will own the strategy for Snyk’s integration into the tools developers use most (like Cursor, Claude Code, and Devin), striking the perfect balance between high-velocity AI autonomy and robust enterprise security. If you’re excited about shaping the "guardrails for agents" and ensuring security is a feature—not a bug—of the AI-native development lifecycle, this is the place to do it.

What You’ll Do:
  • Lead the vision for agentic security, defining how security policy interacts with autonomous agents to prevent risks before they reach production.

  • Own the Snyk Studio roadmap, from core integrations (CLI, MCP) to the library of guardrails that drive automated remediation.

  • Engage directly with customers to translate the challenges of large-scale AI adoption into scalable product solutions.

  • Design the interaction model between security governance and developer flow state, ensuring low-latency, high-context experiences.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, executive leadership, and market analysts to communicate our "AI-native" security strategy.

  • Drive data-driven decisions by defining and tracking product metrics that measure the success of agentic security tooling.

  • Build the business case for expansion into new market segments, ensuring Snyk remains the leader in the evolving AI tooling ecosystem.

What You Bring:
  • Experience in Product Management, specifically within developer tools, cybersecurity, or complex enterprise SaaS.

  • Hands-on experience with AI agents (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Devin) and a deep understanding of how they fit into the modern SDLC.

  • Empathy for the developer persona, with a commitment to building tools that offer low friction and high value.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use both quantitative data and qualitative research to navigate ambiguous markets.

  • A bias for action and the ability to drive complex, multi-persona initiatives from concept to execution.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling technical AI concepts into clear strategies for stakeholders and customers alike.

It’d Be Awesome If You Also…
  • Have a background in software development, and aren't afraid to get hands-on to build a prototype or test an API.

  • Are a "Security Nerd" with experience in SAST, SCA, or DevSecOps workflows.

  • Understand the "Enterprise Struggle", specifically how to manage governance and compliance in highly regulated industries without slowing down innovation.

  • Have experience building "skills" or "hooks" for AI agents to accelerate development cycles.

  • Can explain the "Agentic Lifecycle" to a five-year-old (or a room full of busy executives) with ease and wit.
    Annual Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $180,000

Snyk is committed to equal pay for equal work and carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors. Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors. What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
