Reporting to the Director of Communications & Brand, you'll lead a team of three designers and serve as the creative engine behind how Snyk looks, feels, and shows up across every channel. You're equally comfortable setting design standards as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute — a hands-on leader who can translate brand strategy into compelling visual systems, campaigns, and experiences.
What You’ll Do:- Partner closely with the Director of Communications & Brand to continue building out and operationalizing Snyk's brand refresh — from visual identity systems to guidelines, templates, and toolkits.
Translate brand strategy and direction into cohesive visual expressions across digital, print, event, social, and campaign channels.
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of three brand designers, fostering a high-performance creative culture grounded in craft, collaboration, and iteration.
Set creative direction for design projects, providing clear and constructive feedback that elevates the work and develops the team.
Manage workload, prioritization, and resourcing across the brand design team to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
Serve as the internal authority on brand standards, guiding stakeholders and reviewing work across the organization.
Partner with Product Marketing, Content, Demand Generation, Web, and Events teams to deliver creative that supports key business initiatives — including product launches, campaigns, events like the AI Security Summit, and executive communications.
Collaborate with external agencies and freelancers as needed, providing clear creative briefs, direction, and quality oversight.
7+ years of brand design experience, with at least 2 years in a people management or creative lead role.
Demonstrated experience leading or playing a significant role in a brand refresh or rebrand — from strategy translation through execution and rollout.
Strong portfolio showcasing visual identity, design systems, and multi-channel creative work across digital and print.
Mastery of design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with motion/video production workflows.
Exceptional design sensibility with an eye for typography, layout, color, and visual storytelling.
Ability to clearly articulate creative decisions and provide direction to both designers and non-design stakeholders.
Experience working in a fast-paced B2B tech or SaaS environment, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities.
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple initiatives and drive work to completion.
Have experience in cybersecurity, AI, or developer tooling — or are excited to get up to speed quickly.
Have worked at a company navigating a brand pivot or transformation and understand the unique challenges of evolving a brand mid-flight.
Have experience building brand systems that scale for global teams and across high-growth marketing organizations.
Have a perspective on how AI tools are reshaping the creative workflow and can help the team experiment thoughtfully.
Annual Base Salary Range: $120,000 – $135,000

Actual compensation may vary based on prior experience, skills, location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
