About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Product Manager with a strong background in early-stage product development. As a Product Manager at Rootly, you will be a founding Product hire within the company and be a driving force behind the development and enhancement of our products here at Rootly. 

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define product strategy, prioritize features, and ensure that our products meet the evolving needs of our clients and we expand and continue to grow. This is a great opportunity if you thrive in a fast-paced environment where velocity and innovation are paramount. 

You'll be responsible for:

  • Championing the creation of a delightful user experience by identifying user flows that resonate with our target audience.
  • Usability Enhancement: Continuously improve the usability of our product, using your expertise to make it more user-friendly and efficient.
  • Creating clarity out of ambiguity and be able to make non-data driven decisions 
  • Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product enhancements and market differentiation.
  • Creating detailed product specifications, user stories, and other documentation to guide the development team.
  • Building strong client relationships by actively seeking feedback and providing product updates, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
The Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in  B2B SaaS, working with a technical product/dev tooling environment
  • Experience working within an early stage startup environment.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of SaaS architecture and development processes.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • Data-driven mindset and experience in using data to inform product decisions.
