Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager with strong experience in API-driven integrations and a background in the insurtech industry to lead the execution of our integration initiatives. This role will focus on translating business needs into well-defined product requirements, managing integration lifecycles, and partnering closely with engineering and external stakeholders to deliver seamless, scalable connections with carriers, benefits administration systems, and other partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define and drive the integrations roadmap, aligning with product strategy, company objectives and customer needs.

  • Own the day-to-day execution of integration initiatives, from requirements gathering through delivery and ongoing enhancements.

  • Translate business and client needs into detailed user stories, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria in partnership with Product Owners.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, and integration implementation leads to refine priorities and support successful onboarding and adoption of integrations.

  • Manage integration development timelines, testing, and release readiness in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Monitor integration performance, stability, and adoption metrics, recommending improvements and enhancements.

  • Stay informed on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and insurtech trends to ensure integrations align with evolving expectations.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for integrations internally, providing clarity and support across product and business teams.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • 6+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on integrations or API-first products.

  • Proven experience in the Insurtech or healthtech, or space with an understanding of carrier, broker, or benefits administration workflows.

  • Strong technical acumen: ability to understand APIs, data schemas, and system interoperability, while effectively bridging technical and non-technical teams.

  • Demonstrated experience with integration design, data mapping, and testing processes.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work across engineering, business, and client-facing teams.

  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with compliance and security considerations in insurance/benefits data exchange a plus.

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $145,000 to $165,000 per year 

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance. We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
