Position Summary

CVS Health is solving some of the most challenging problems at the intersection of technology and healthcare. We are seeking an experienced healthcare technology product leader to join CVS Health's enterprise clinical intelligence platform. The Clinical Insights Engine (CIE) transforms fragmented patient data into actionable, evidence-backed insights using clinically validated AI. These insights are delivered directly into internal applications and provider workflows to improve the quality and timeliness of patient care.

As a Sr. Product Lead, Clinical Insights supporting Screening & Diagnosis, Quality Measurement, or Care Management use cases across multiple CVS Health businesses, you will serve as the strategic bridge between the CIE’s platform and the business’ operational priorities. You will partner with Platform PMs to maximize the value delivered to the business, ensuring that our technical and business roadmaps are deeply integrated.

Your core mandate is to drive the strategic roadmap for your use cases and be accountable for ensuring our solutions drive measurable clinical and business impact. You act as the connective tissue in a matrixed organization, synthesizing complex business needs with platform capabilities to deliver high-impact, scalable solutions.

What You’ll Do
  • Strategic Vision & Value Synthesis: Define the multi-year vision and strategic roadmap for the Clinical Insight Engine’s integration with various CVS Health businesses. You will synthesize high-level clinical and business objectives with platform capabilities to define the product direction.

  • Collaborative Strategic Planning: Work in partnership with Platform PMs to co-develop the roadmap, ensuring business objectives are deeply integrated into the overarching Clinical Insights Engine strategy. You serve as the strategic interface, facilitating the exchange between clinical business needs and platform technical capabilities to drive a unified, coherent roadmap.

  • Value Realization & Outcomes: Go beyond shipping features by ensuring their success. Actively partner with customer business and technology teams to monitor the implementation and adoption of the Clinical Insights Engine. You are responsible for the "last mile" of the product—ensuring that the solutions delivered drive intended clinical and financial outcomes, and iterating based on real-world feedback loops.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the primary liaison between clinical leadership, business owners, and Clinical Insights Engine platform. Develop data-driven business cases to justify investment in new features or model enhancements and communicate progress, blockers, and value realization to senior leadership.

  • Performance & Impact Monitoring: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the Clinical Insights Engine (e.g., provider acceptance rates, diagnostic accuracy, quality gap closure, intervention timeliness, etc.). Continuously identify and act on opportunities for product improvement through quantitative analysis and user feedback.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
