Bots are a new media type that offer a way for creators to share infinitely scalable and personalized content experiences combined with seamless group chat across voice, video, and text.

About the role:

Cantina is seeking a Senior Product Designer to craft immersive, gamified experiences that drive growth at the intersection of AI and consumer social. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end design process, shaping intuitive and dynamic interactions that deepen engagement and expand our user base. Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and AI teams, you’ll explore new interaction paradigms, refine core mechanics, and push the boundaries of how people connect in AI-driven social experiences.

A bit about the work:

  • Develop high-fidelity user interfaces and user experience designs across desktop and mobile

  • Collaborate closely with engineering,  research and product teams

  • Manage multiple ongoing projects & initiatives, and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced and quickly changing environment.

  • Help establish a culture and development processes for best in class product design and quality.

  • Communicate and craft every detail of new product features from idea to user experience, to pixel-perfect execution.

A bit about you: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX designer with at least 3 years on consumer-facing software applications, with a focus on game design.

  • Demonstrated portfolio of shipping amazing experiences that have made a clear and significant impact on consumer and business metrics.

  • Strong understanding of AI-driven interactions and/or consumer social products

  • Ability to prototype and iterate quickly based on user feedback

  • Passion for creating engaging, player-centric experiences

Location:

We have offices located in Los Angeles and San Francisco. While we have a strong focus on individuals near our office hubs, we offer fully remote and hybrid employment opportunities.

Pay Equity: 

In compliance with Pay Transparency Laws, the base salary range for this role is between $150,000-$200,000 for those located in the SF Bay Area or Los Angeles. When determining compensation, a number of factors will be considered, including skills, experience, job scope, location, and competitive compensation market data.

Benefits Summary:

  • Health Care —  99% of premiums for medical, vision, dental are fully paid for by Cantina, plus One Medical membership.
