As a Senior Pricing Analyst for the Core Data Center Business Unit (CDBU), your primary responsibilities will be setting data center SSD and DRAM pricing for customers in EMEA and APAC.

You will be the pricing lead and execute pricing strategies aligned with Micron’s financial objectives. Under the CDBU Pricing team, you will work closely with Sales, Finance, Segment Teams, Sales Operations, and Product Management. This role has a significant impact in CDBU by optimizing prices in region.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, recommend, and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics, especially for EMEA and APAC. Develop rebate proposals to drive corporate business objectives

  • Ability to effectively communicate proposals and negotiation options at all management levels, including regular executive engagement. Apply value-based selling techniques in preparing sales for negotiations

  • Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis. Close interaction with Sales before, during, and after the negotiation.

  • Close collaboration with business partners to find opportunities for price optimization and work cross-functionally with other BU pricing organizations to align pricing strategy

  • Own and manage product level ASP projections at segment/customer level for short term and long-term business planning process

  • Continuously monitor pricing throughout the industry and communicate information on pricing trends to management and Sales and strive to continuously improve pricing processes

Minimum Qualification:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar fields of study and 5-years of experience in memory, storage, or semiconductor fields with a good understanding of product, pricing, marketing, and sales functionalities

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with experience providing business insights and recommendations from data sets

  • Ability to work in a team environment and maintain good relationships with team members

  • Strong analytic skills and detail-oriented; works with a sense of urgency and excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • High skill level in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualification:

  • MBA or graduate degree in a relevant discipline such as Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics, or similar fields of study and 7-years of experience in memory, storage, or semiconductor fields with a good understanding of product, pricing, marketing, and sales functionalities

  • Excellent project management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks

  • Proven track record to influence and challenge outcomes to get results

  • Experience working with or in support of global teams

  • Proficient in Power BI, SQL, VBA a plus

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$122,500.00 - $208,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.  The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations.  Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.  The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.  Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
