The Government Pricing team at Sandoz manages the process, controls and assignments related to the validation, calculation, and analytics of the following government programs to ensure compliance and integrity, along with insights to enable good business decisions:
• Medicare Part B Program
• VA Federal Supply Schedule Program
• Medicaid Drug Rebate Program
• PHS 340B Drug Discount Program
• All State Reporting and Compliance Commitments

As an Associate Director, Government Pricing, your responsibilities will include, but not limited to the following:

· Ensure robust update and completion of SOP’s, SOX documentation and price calculation methodologies.

· Develop, implement, maintain and approve key controls that ensure compliance and timely completion of all government program submissions including but not limited to Average Manufacture Price (AMP), Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP) non-Federal Average Manufacturer Price (nFAMP), Public Health Service - 340B (PHS), Federal Ceiling Price (FCP) and all state reporting.

· Partners effectively with cross-functional teams on commercial / business strategies and pricing changes to assess government pricing requirements and implications (Compliance and Financial).

· Routinely present and interact with senior leadership on all critical government pricing compliance and financial matters.

· Proactively identifies and resolves compliance issues, questions, or pricing requests received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

· Complete and present complex financial models and accruals and provide insights to GtN Forecasting accuracy and business decisions.

· Provides proactive and reactive analytics and insights to the Business that helps improve Forecasting, Contracting Decisions, Pricing Decisions and Timing, Business Planning.

· Works closely with Senior leadership on confidential BDL proposed deals and provides insights related to Government Pricing, Operations and proposed language that enhances compliance and profitability.

· Provides input and analysis on proposed and new Government Regulations. Provide recommendations for optimal implementation of new regulations.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Requirements: 

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field of study

A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience with a minimum of 3 years of government pricing experience

A minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience working with government pricing software, such as Model-N / Revitas suite of products, or the equivalent product(s)

• Strong working knowledge of government regulations pertaining to Federal and State programs · Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint

Desirable (preferred): 

• MBA or higher degree in a related field of study

• Experience in financial impact review, forecasting and accruals

This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ site and will not have the ability to be located remotely.  Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Sandoz offers a generous employee benefits package that includes a competitive salary, health insurance coverage for medical, prescription drugs, dental and vision, a generous company match for retirement savings accounts, and generous paid time off.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $160,300 and $297,700/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/25 through 12/31/25, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.  Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

On September 30, 2021, Sandoz entered into a 5-year Corporate Integrity Agreement. Certain positions will have responsibilities to support the execution and adherence to CIA obligations, CIA-related deliverables, and any relevant audit, monitoring or Independent Review Organization (IRO) remediation.
