The Role

Are you a passionate product leader who wants to make a real impact on people's health? Lark Health is looking for a Senior Product Manager to own the future of our core member app and AI coaching.

At Lark, we are leading the way into a new era of cardiometabolic care, leveraging advanced AI to provide scalable, compassionate care. Our platform helps manage millions of lives for our health plan partners, empowering users to prevent and manage conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. If you're excited to work at the intersection of healthcare, AI, and human-centered design, we'd love to meet you.

This is an initial 6-month contract with an option to convert to a full-time role.

What You'll Do

You'll lead the product work behind Lark's core mobile app experience. You'll work with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and data scientists to deliver features that improve the lives of our members. You will:

  • Lead the development of our core app and AI coaching, guiding the entire development cycle from concept to launch.

  • Use a hypothesis-driven approach to define and refine key features, leveraging market analysis, user testing, and data to create products that deliver real value.

  • Own a portion of the product roadmap, translating user insights and business goals into clearly shaped initiatives, user stories, product requirements, and launch plans.

  • Run a sharp measurement practice: clean experiments, the right metrics, and real evidence behind key decisions.

  • Define and track success by setting and monitoring key results, and communicating those results to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Partner tightly with the Enrollment and EHR teams on shared work and shared goals, keeping everyone aligned around member outcomes.

What You'll Need

You bring a builder's mindset. You've taken major features from zero to one, you're comfortable in ambiguity, and sharp with data.

  • A track record of shipping consumer mobile products and features that people love. You've built under real constraints and learned from real users.

  • Real product judgment. You can feel the craft in what you've built.

  • Hands-on experience shipping AI-powered features, with a feel for what makes AI hard: accuracy, member trust, and designing for outputs you can't fully predict.

  • Strong analytics and experimentation instincts. You're fluent in tools like Braintrust, Mixpanel, Looker, or Snowflake, and you know quality takes more than a standard A/B test.

  • Familiarity with modern lean product development methodologies within a distributed team environment.

  • A feel for behavior change and for the line between coaching and clinical care, so you design responsibly in a regulated space.

  • Experience with the Medicare or older-adult population, or in B2C health, wellness, or fitness.

  • Familiarity with responsible AI practices and the healthcare-specific questions that come with them.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
