What we are looking for:

We’re looking for a seasoned, detail-driven payroll professional who thrives on ownership, accuracy, and compliance. The Senior Payroll Specialist plays a critical role in delivering end-to-end, multi-state and multi-entity payroll services at Epiphany Dermatology, ensuring every payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with payroll taxes, deductions, garnishments, reconciliations, and reporting, along with a strong commitment to operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

What you’ll do:


  • Execute end-to-end biweekly payroll cycles including gross-to-net, adjustments, and off-cycle runs for geographically dispersed team members. 

  • Act as a subject matter expert for payroll related questions, policies, and regulations. 

  • Maintain payroll records, file required tax reports, and process levies, garnishments, and other payroll deductions.

  • Maintain accurate employee and payroll data within ADP (payroll/HRIS system) and other internal databases.

  • Process employment and income verification requests. 

  • Participate in annual 401(k) compliance audits. 

  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries and redirect them to appropriate team members when needed. 

  • Prepare, review, and submit reports as needed. 

  • Assist with new company set ups in ADP including payroll configuration and tax setup. 

  • Develop and maintain updates to Payroll Policies and Procedures.  

  • Support the effective utilization of the payroll system (ADP) and the execution of payroll-related initiatives. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion with accountability.  

Qualifications/Experience: 


  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, human resources, or related field, preferred.

  • High School Diploma required.

  • Extensive experience in payroll administration (3-5+ years).

  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.

  • Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to payroll administration. 

  • CPP certification, preferred. 

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and computer data entry. 

Work Environment and Physical Requirements: 

Administrative office may have minimum visits to medical offices with possible exposure to procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
