About Realm

Realm is on a mission to help homeowners complete their renovations and new builds with confidence, ease, and financial clarity. We guide them through every step of the pre-construction journey—from understanding timelines and permitting to refining scope and securing financing. We then match homeowners with high-quality contractors, help set expectations, and support them even after construction begins.

We’re an early stage startup founded in 2019 building a category-defining platform for home renovation, a 450+ billion dollar industry with no growing, scaled competitor. Our small but mighty team is based primarily in Los Angeles (Culver City).

In 2024, we doubled revenue and tripled gross profit--and are now ready to go on the offense and prepare to scale.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, execution-oriented Senior Partnerships Manager to drive the next phase of Realm’s growth through high-impact partnerships. This individual will be responsible for identifying, structuring, and scaling partnerships across consumer acquisition, financing, and materials. You’ll work cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations to create value for both Realm and our partners, while owning the full lifecycle from initial outreach to long-term relationship management.

This is a highly visible, Los Angeles-based hybrid role (3 days in office) reporting directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop new strategic partnerships that align with Realm’s growth objectives

  • Own end-to-end partnership development, including prospecting, pitching, negotiating, onboarding, and scaling

  • Collaborate with product and revenue teams to launch co-branded initiatives, integrations, or service offerings

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for Realm’s top-tier partners

  • Analyze partnership performance metrics and optimize for growth and impact
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and proactively pursue new opportunities in the homeownership ecosystem

Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or GTM roles—ideally in proptech, fintech, or consumer marketplaces

  • Demonstrated track record of closing and scaling impactful partnerships at an early stage startup (Series A- Series C)

  • Entrepreneurial & resourceful: able to perform your own analytics, create presentations, and devise a strategy from scratch
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Experience reporting to C-Suite or VP level

  • Based in Los Angeles

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
