About the Role:
Hive Media Group is looking for a highly motivated search Media Buyer who excels at performance marketing and creative production to join our team! The ideal candidate has a proven track record of making creatives for performance media buying, is a data-driven self-starter who is constantly diving into data and seeking out new testing opportunities, researching strategies, and providing insights from past campaign performance. This person will be launching and scaling spend on a high volume of native and/or social campaigns daily.

In order to succeed in this role, you must be experienced and confident in your ability to manage large spending budgets, developing your own creatives, have a critical eye for detail, and have a passion for data analysis!
**This is a full-time, Hybrid position in either Hive Media Office**
Responsibilities:
Search Media Buying
- Develop, deploy, and optimize paid media campaigns across multiple digital platforms such as Facebook, Google, TikTok, Taboola, Newsbreak, etc to maximize profitability.
- Manages budget allocations and bid parameters to deliver the most efficient results.
- Monitor KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CTR, etc.) and uncover insights that drive smarter decisions and ensure that campaign KPIs and objectives are met both near and long term.
- Stay up to date on current events & suggest campaign updates in response to major news.
- Pull and analyze campaign performance reports to inform daily optimizations and testing recommendations.
Creative Development
- Conceptualize and create your own ad creatives—including static, video, carousels, and native formats.
- Write thumb-stopping copy that connects with real people and converts
- Maintain creative quality while experimenting with new angles and formats
Strategy & Testing
- A/B test different creative concepts, messaging, and formats continuously based on insights gained from campaign management
- Research, identify, and evaluate media market trends, new markets, and competitive activity to capitalize on untapped opportunities such as niche sites.
- Experiment with new platforms and channels.
Mentorship
- Review and provide input on campaign builds and optimizations handled by the contractor.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience of digital media buying, preferably in search, with one or more of the following platforms: Google, Facebook , Tiktok, Taboola, Outbrain, Pinterest, Snapchat
- 1 year of hands-on experience with Search.
- Must be proficient in Excel / google sheets
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of paid search, paid social and programmatic advertising.
- Exceptional work ethic, high sense of urgency, driven and self-motivated.
- Must have an Analytical mindset with a creative flair.
- Hands-on experience creating ad creatives and copy that have driven measurable results.
- Strong experience writing/revising test plans based on information obtained from prior marketing and testing efforts. OR (Proven experience running A/B tests based on insights from campaign performance, audience behavior, or competitive research—not just guessing but using data to shape test hypotheses and iterate effectively.)
- Ability to follow changes in the search and paid media industry and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively with management and peers virtually.
- Must be extremely detail-oriented, passionate about data analysis, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience providing guidance or mentorship to junior media buyers or contractors.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, test-and-learn environment.

Our Senior Media Buyer compensation package includes an annual salary ranging between $65,000 - $80,000 (based on candidate's experience and skill set). Additionally, this role is eligible for equity, and benefits including:
