Space is a warfighting domain. True Anomaly seeks those with the talent and ambition to build the technology that secures it.

OUR MISSION

True Anomaly delivers decisive capabilities for space superiority. We build autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors — enabling the U.S. and its Allies to secure the space environment and counter threats from the ultimate high ground.

OUR VALUES

  • Be the offset. We create asymmetric advantages with creativity and ingenuity.
  • What would it take? We challenge assumptions to deliver ambitious results.
  • It’s the people. Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together.

YOUR MISSION

As a Senior Master Demand Scheduler at True Anomaly, you will be a key contributor to executing our Supply Chain and Operations strategy. This role will play an integral part in establishing and executing a demand S&OP cycle. This role will support the Supply Chain & Project Management teams in developing and maintaining master production and supply schedules to ensure the timely delivery of flight hardware to orbit. This role will also support the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of demand planning and scheduling processes and act as a cross-functional advocate across the business. This role requires a seasoned scheduling professional who wants to dig in, design scalable processes, and own the demand signal from requirements through production execution. We are looking for a reliable problem solver with deep scheduling expertise who can identify constraints, model trade-offs, and develop solutions that keep programs on track.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing and maintaining the demand signal across multiple programs, ensuring alignment between customer demand, production capacity, and material availability
  • Owning the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, including facilitation of cross-functional demand review meetings with Program Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain stakeholders
  • Translating program requirements into actionable production plans, work order releases, and material demand signals
  • Identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts, capacity constraints, and material shortages through proactive communication and data-driven trade-off analysis
  • Collaborating with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure material plans align with the master schedule, including management of long-lead and critical-path items
  • Developing and maintaining scheduling metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to provide visibility into schedule health, on-time delivery performance, and risk areas
  • Supporting scenario planning and what-if analysis to assess the impact of engineering changes, customer requirement shifts, or supply disruptions on the master schedule
  • Driving continuous improvement of demand planning and scheduling processes, including ERP/MRP system optimization and workflow automation
  • Participating in special projects and extending past written role responsibilities as needed to support the team and organization

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of relevant demand planning/master scheduling experience, OR 12+ years of relevant experience in absence of a degree
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and managing demand plans and/or production schedules in an aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environment
  • Deep experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle or similar) and an understanding of MRP logic, work order management, and capacity planning modules
  • Strong proficiency in S&OP processes and cross-functional demand planning
  • Experience managing schedules for hardware with long-lead components, high configurability, or low-rate production environments
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent program schedules
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel, and scheduling tools such as MS Project or similar

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Space-technology or launch vehicle manufacturing supply chain/scheduling experience
  • APICS CPIM or CSCP certification (or in progress)
  • Experience scheduling in any of the following functional areas — Propulsion, Structures, Power Systems, Avionics, or integration and test operations
  • Experience in a high-growth manufacturing environment or new program standup

COMPENSATION

  • Base Salary:  $100,000-$145,000
  • Equity + Benefits including Health, Dental, Vision, HRA/HSA options, PTO and paid holidays, 401K, Parental Leave

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, location, and experience.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location—Successful candidates will be located near Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA
  • Work environment—the work environment; temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
  • Physical demands—the physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting and driving.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
