📍 About the Role

Job Title: Senior Marketing Operations

Team: Sales

Manager: Senior Revenue Operations Manager

Location: Remote (U.S. and Canada only)

Type: Full-time

We’re looking for a Marketing Operations Manager to be the backbone of our high-performing marketing team. This person will streamline systems, improve data integrity, and own campaign reporting and attribution. You’ll collaborate closely with Field Marketing, Performance Marketing, Content, SDRs, and Sales to ensure our campaigns are executed flawlessly and deliver meaningful business results.

We’re especially looking for someone with deep experience in data analytics — someone who can dive into complex datasets, uncover insights and issues, and make actionable recommendations to improve performance, processes, and ROI across the marketing funnel.

✅ What You'll Do
  • Dive deep into data to identify anomalies, inefficiencies, and opportunities, and recommend improvements based on clear analysis and trends

  • Maintain and optimize Salesforce for marketing operations, including campaigns, leads/contacts, reporting, and attribution

  • Monitor key metrics weekly including MQL → SQL → SQO → Win conversion rates, lead attribution, and touchpoints

  • Ensure accurate ROI tracking across campaigns, webinars, and events—mapping campaign spend to SFDC campaign attribution

  • Build dashboards and reporting for executive and team-level visibility into marketing performance

  • Own and evolve our SQL/MQL reporting across lead and contact objects in Salesforce

  • Implement and optimize campaign influence and multi-touch attribution models

  • Build and track invite waves and attendance for Field Marketing events, including ICP validation and territory assignment

  • Collaborate with Content Marketing to manage campaign lists, drip campaigns in ActiveCampaign, and webinar operations

  • Manage tools including Apollo, Sales Nav, Rippling (for expenses), and commission systems like SPIFF

  • Support accurate and timely commission calculations for Sales, CS, SDR, Field Marketing, and Performance Marketing teams

🧠 What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or related analytical roles

  • Deep expertise in data analytics — strong ability to extract, interpret, and communicate insights from large datasets

  • Proficiency in Salesforce, marketing automation platforms (like ActiveCampaign or HubSpot), and BI/reporting tools (such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI)

  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards that track marketing performance, funnel conversion, and ROI

  • Strong understanding of marketing attribution models and campaign influence tracking

  • High attention to detail with the ability to spot trends, identify data integrity issues, and proactively resolve them

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills — you can translate data into clear business recommendations for marketing and sales stakeholders

Bonus:

  • Experience with reporting tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker

  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools like HubSpot or Marketo

  • Experience with tools like Zapier, ChiliPiper, ActiveCampaign, Spiff and Slack integrations

  • Understanding of HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting

  • Awareness of email compliance/privacy laws like GDPR or CAN-SPAM

💸 Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $150,000 -$170,000 USD

  • OTE: $180,000- $185,000

  • Medical, Dental & Vision: 100% covered

  • PTO: 28 days

  • Remote-First Culture: Work from anywhere in the U.S.

Our Values

✨ Make magic. We want to build a magical product for our customers and magical place to work. Magic is striving for better than the best. Working with exceptional colleagues is exciting, inspiring, and the most important factor for creating a magical place to work.

📖 Be open. Being open provides context people need to make great decisions. Openness builds trust, showing progress creates momentum, and open learnings from failures help us get better.

💪 Have freedom and ownership. Giving people freedom instead of developing processes to prevent them from using their own judgement, creates better decision making and accountability. To give people freedom they must have the skills, context, and ownership mentality to solve problems self-directed.

💥 Deliver impact fast. Creative mavericks are motivated by doing great work, not by being told what to do. By creating a magical environment to attract talented people, by being open and providing context to make great decisions, then we can provide freedom and ownership for people to do great work and deliver impact fast.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
