You’ll work across Growth & Planning, Marketing, Product, Business Development, Finance, and regional teams to tackle some of our most important strategic questions — how our membership strategy should evolve, where we should invest, and what opportunities could drive growth over the next 5–10 years.
Reporting to the Director of SVOD Strategy, you'll bring together market, consumer, competitive, and business insights to help establish priorities for the SVOD business and give senior leaders the information they need to make decisions.
This is a great opportunity for someone coming from management consulting who wants to move closer to the business and apply their strategy experience within a global direct-to-consumer company.
Core Areas of Responsibility- Help shape Crunchyroll’s long-term global membership and SVOD strategy, balancing company goals, business performance, and fan needs.
- Identify and evaluate long-term opportunities and big bets for the SVOD business over a 5–10 year horizon.
- Lead research and analysis that informs Crunchyroll’s five-year SVOD strategic plan.
- Build and refine our view of the global anime opportunity, including TAM, fan segmentation, regional dynamics, and competitive trends.
- Evaluate priority markets and maintain regional factbases and playbooks that inform investment decisions.
- Assess membership pricing, benefits, and value propositions across markets and against competitors.
- Lead business cases for new or expanded membership benefits, including opportunity sizing, recommendations, and test-and-learn plans.
- Help drive the SVOD operating rhythm, connecting long-term strategy with quarterly priorities and financial performance.
- Turn complex analysis into clear insights and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Partner across Growth & Planning, Marketing, Product, Business Development, Finance, and regional teams to align on SVOD priorities.
- Support high-priority strategic projects for the Senior Management Team.
- 8+ years of professional experience, with a strong foundation in management consulting, corporate strategy, or enterprise strategy.

- Experience presenting recommendations to senior executives and turning complex ideas into clear, compelling presentations.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to influence and build relationships across teams without direct authority.
- Comfortable working through ambiguity and changing business priorities.
- Exposure to digital subscriptions, consumer technology, media, entertainment, advertising, or e-commerce is a plus.
In addition to getting to work with fun, passionate and inspired colleagues, you will also enjoy the following benefits and perks:
