Job Description Summary: The Senior Manager Strategic/Upstream Marketing is a high-impact role responsible for architecting the future of the company’s portfolio strategy and clinical education programs. By translating clinical insights into actionable product innovation, this role aligns the portfolio with market needs, paving the way for widespread therapy adoption and sustainable market leadership in TAVR for AR. This position maintains ownership of comprehensive clinical training and integrated education programs, working in close alignment with Field Training, Sales Enablement, R&D, and other cross-functional teams. Ultimately, through a strategic, deliberate, and clinical approach to product development, this leader ensures the company maintains its leadership position in TAVR for AR therapy.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the long-term global product and innovation strategy, ensuring future development aligns with corporate commercial goals and clinical unmet needs.
  • Oversee the education programs for the organization, guiding the strategic development of comprehensive clinical training programs and curricula.
  • Foster critical alignment across Education, Sales Enablement, and Clinical Training to deliver a cohesive, integrated training experience for both healthcare professionals and the commercial team.
  • Drive product development through meaningful product iterations, differentiation, and indication expansion strategies rooted in a strategic market understanding and informed by clinical insights.
  • Translate clinical observations and physician feedback from education initiatives into actionable insights for long-term product and pipeline strategy.
  • Continuously monitor clinical outcomes and device usability to identify necessary design changes and improve the streamlined implant experience.
  • Define and map out future indications for the Trilogy platform through clinical trial expansion and product iterations.
  • Provide executive oversight to ensure compliance and excellence of all strategic marketing, educational, and regulatory documentation.
Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. MBA highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 plus years of experience in medical device marketing, strategy, or clinical education leadership.
  • Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional initiatives, teams, and overseeing complex, long-term product portfolios.
  • Deep strategic expertise in the structural heart, cardiology, or TAVR space is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated history of guiding products through early-stage innovation and scaling professional education or clinical training programs.

Skills and Abilities Required for This Job:

  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to initiate, own and navigate complex and nuanced long-term projects, with multiple stakeholders and moving parts.
  • Ability to comprehensively understand the market, gathering and translating clinical unmet needs into specific, actionable technical requirements.
  • High level of proficiency in strategic marketing functions including VOC, competitor pipeline mapping, TAM modeling, formal design and regulatory documentation.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to partner with and influence cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, highly organized.
