The Role

Wpromote is looking for a relationship-driven, highly strategic Senior Strategic Partnerships Manager to help grow and activate our ecosystem of media, technology, measurement, AI, and emerging-platform partners.

Reporting into the Vice President, Media Investment, this role will own a portfolio of strategic partner relationships while helping Wpromote identify new capabilities, create joint opportunities, educate internal teams, and bring differentiated solutions to our clients.

You’ll work across Product, Data & Analytics, Earned Media, Client Strategy, Media, Marketing, and Events to ensure Wpromote is getting more than access from our partnerships - we’re turning them into meaningful capabilities, client opportunities, thought leadership, and competitive advantage.

The ideal candidate is a strong relationship manager who can also operate. You’re excited to discover emerging technology partners, evaluate where they fit within Wpromote’s offering, connect them with the right internal stakeholders, create enablement plans, and build repeatable partnership motions that generate meaningful client and business opportunities. You’ll also make Wpromote’s partner ecosystem easier for teams to navigate and activate.

The anticipated annual salary for this role will range from $110,000 - $130,000, based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, years and depth of experience, education and certifications, competitive benchmarks, scope of responsibility, market dynamics, geographic location, and the respective state’s salary threshold for exempt employees. At Wpromote, pay ranges are subject to change and are based on specific market medians for similar jobs according to third-party salary benchmark surveys. Individual pay within that range can vary due to skills, experience, and available budget. The total compensation package for this role will include benefits (listed above.

**While this role offers the flexibility to work remotely, we have office hubs in Los Angeles and New York, where you can join in on learning and development opportunities, fun events, take advantage of a space to work, and collaborate in person!

You Will Be

    Partner Management
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned media, technology, measurement, and emerging-platform partners.

  • Own a portfolio of Media and Technology Partnerships.

  • Develop strong relationships with partner teams and ensure Wpromote has access to relevant strategic and commercial opportunities.

  • Create clear relationship plans for priority partners, including objectives, internal stakeholders, opportunities, and next steps.

  • Maintain Wpromote’s partner matrix and opportunity pipeline.

  • Building Wpromote’s Emerging Partner Ecosystem
  • Identify, evaluate, and develop relationships with partners across areas such as:

  • Retail Media and Commerce

  • AI and AI Search

  • Audience and Identity

  • Measurement and Incrementality

  • Creator Marketing

  • Email and SMS

  • Brand Safety

  • Media Automation

  • Media

  • Emerging advertising and marketing technologies

  • Help determine which partners should become strategic relationships versus tactical solutions and negotiate commercial agreements

  • Work with Product and internal subject-matter experts to evaluate new capabilities and determine where they fit within Wpromote’s offering.

  • Bring new solutions and opportunities to internal teams before they become table stakes in the market.

  • Internal Enablement
  • Develop and distribute partnership communications, updates, and enablement materials.

  • Maintain Wpromote’s internal partner directory, resource hub, and partnership materials.

  • Introduce internal teams to strategic partners and emerging capabilities.

  • Coordinate partner trainings, certifications, demonstrations, and educational sessions.

  • Partner closely with Client Strategy and Media teams to help them identify when and how to bring partner capabilities to clients.

  • Build AI processes that make it easy for teams to discover, understand, and activate Wpromote’s partner ecosystem.

  • Co-Marketing and Events
  • Partner with Marketing and Events to develop and execute co-marketing programs with strategic partners, including thought leadership, research, content, awards, and industry events.

  • Identify and coordinate opportunities for Wpromote leaders, subject-matter experts, clients, and teams to participate in partner content, events, and industry conversations.

  • Manage partner-facing content and visibility, including case studies, awards submissions, website updates, profiles, and joint thought leadership.

  • Own recurring internal partnership communications, including newsletters, Slack updates, event calendars, and other programming, while coordinating partner-related logistics with Marketing and Events.

You Must Have

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, media, ad tech, martech, digital marketing, or a related field.

  • Strong knowledge of the advertising and marketing technology ecosystem.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with multiple external partners simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Strong project-management and organizational skills.

  • Ability to understand technical or complex products and translate them into clear client and business applications.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally across Product, Media, Data & Analytics, Client Strategy, Marketing, and senior leadership.

  • Ability to identify opportunities proactively rather than waiting for partner requests.

  • Strong presentation and internal enablement skills.

  • Genuine curiosity about AI, emerging platforms, and the future of marketing technology.
