What makes a Signalite?
Signalites are the incredible people who make up CodeSignal’s global team. We believe every Signalite should be given the context to understand decisions, the freedom to act independently, and the responsibility to do what’s right. These principles build upon each other to drive motivation, speed, innovation, and a results-oriented, high-performing culture. We believe that culture is not just about principles, but also behaviors. This belief can be seen and felt in everything we do as Signalites.

The Company
CodeSignal has built the leading AI-native skills platform, helping companies replace guesswork in hiring and development with real proof of skills. We are partnered with Google, Anthropic, Meta, TikTok, Instacart, Zoom, Asana, Visa, and UnitedHealth Group among many others. CodeSignal empowers people and organizations to discover and develop the skills that will shape the future. Our platform spans three connected products: skills assessments for hiring, CodeSignal Learn for hands-on learning and practice, and Skills Intelligence, our newest product, which evaluates employee skills through their actual work.
Partnerships across HR tech, assessment, publishing, and labor-market data are central to our growth. As we expand our partner program and bring Skills Intelligence to market, we’re hiring someone to turn early momentum into repeatable commercial success.

The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Manager, Partnerships & Channels to build and scale CodeSignal’s partner program across the corporate and HR tech markets. In this senior individual contributor role, you’ll turn early partner traction into repeatable pipeline and revenue through strategic alliances, reseller relationships, and co-selling.
You’ll own partner strategy and commercial execution, work closely with Sales on joint opportunities, and collaborate with Product and Engineering on integrations- with a particular focus on bringing our newest product, Skills Intelligence, to market.
Our partner program is still early. We’re looking for an experienced builder who can establish the structure, processes, and playbooks needed to scale while personally sourcing partners, negotiating agreements, and driving opportunities forward. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, changing priorities, and working closely with Sales.

What You’ll Do
  • Build the partner program. Own CodeSignal’s partner strategy end-to-end, including partner types and tiers, playbooks, processes, and the systems that let it scale.
  • Source, negotiate, and launch partnerships across alliances, resellers, referral, and co-sell/cross-sell motions, structuring commercial terms partner by partner.
  • Drive partner-sourced and partner-influenced revenue, including reseller partners who resell CodeSignal and open new markets and segments for us.
  • Lead the partner strategy for Skills Intelligence. Find the complementary platforms that, combined with CodeSignal, create a solution that wins competitive deals.
  • Be the go-to partner for Sales. Lead joint account planning and co-selling between partner sales teams and CodeSignal’s sales team, and build the trust and coordination that requires.
  • Run integration-led partnerships with Product and Engineering (ATS, HCM/HRIS, LMS/LXP, skills and labor-market data platforms), translating partner needs and helping scope integrations.
  • Enable partners to sell confidently, covering the pitch, demo path, messaging, objection handling, and how to work with CodeSignal.
  • Coordinate execution across the company, working with Sales, Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Security to unblock partner opportunities.
  • Represent CodeSignal in the HR tech ecosystem at industry events like HR Tech and Unleash, on panels, and in executive conversations with partners.
  • Measure what matters. Track and report partner activation, pipeline, conversion, sourced and influenced ARR, and expansion.
  • Support education and public sector partnerships as opportunities come up. These are secondary to the corporate focus.

What You Bring
  • Experience in HR technology, talent technology, or enterprise software serving HR and talent teams.
  • Significant experience in B2B SaaS partnerships, including building an early-stage partner program with HR tech, talent tech, or enterprise software is strongly preferred.
  • A proven track record of building a partner program from an early stage. You’ve launched reseller, alliance, and co-sell/cross-sell motions yourself, not only managed existing ones.
  • Startup experience. You thrive in ambiguity and fast-changing priorities. Experience at a large enterprise software company is valuable, ideally paired with time at a high-growth startup.
  • Strong commercial skills, including deal structuring, partner-by-partner negotiation, packaging, and deal hygiene.
  • Technical fluency. You’re comfortable in integration conversations (APIs, data flows, platform integrations) and can speak the language with partner product and engineering teams. This isn’t a product manager role.
  • A collaborative, cross-functional style that earns sales teams’ trust and makes you their first call on partner deals.
  • Executive presence and excellent communication. You’re comfortable as an external face of CodeSignal, including speaking on panels.
  • A revenue orientation. You treat partnerships as a pipeline and revenue engine, not mainly as corporate strategy or M&A.

Nice to Have
  • An established network across the HR tech ecosystem (ATS, HCM/HRIS, LMS/LXP, assessment providers, skills and talent intelligence, labor-market data, consulting and services firms).
  • Experience in skills intelligence, talent intelligence, or workforce analytics.
  • Experience with partner tooling (CRM, PRM/partner portal, enablement platforms).
  • A track record of speaking at industry conferences or partner events.

Why This Role at CodeSignal

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
