We believe that unbiased, personalized financial advice that integrates into every facet of life is essential to living well. People’s financial lives are dynamic and ever-evolving, so we cover everything money touches–from starting a business to buying real estate to your investments and much more. Facet believes financial advice should be delivered with a fresh, human-plus-tech approach, that includes a CFP® professional–the highest certification possible.

The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Financial Sales Representative to join our sales team. This is a crucial role responsible for connecting with individuals and introducing them to the value of Facet's modern, comprehensive financial planning services. You will be a key player in expanding our member base, guiding prospective members through the sales funnel, and helping them understand how our flat-fee membership can transform their financial future.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new, qualified leads, conducting consultative sales through video calls, phone calls & emails to understand their financial goals and challenges.
  • Articulate Facet's unique value proposition, clearly explaining our flat-fee membership model and how it differs from traditional, AUM-based financial advisory services.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial discovery meeting to closing, effectively addressing objections and building trust with potential members in a remote setting.
  • Exceed individual sales targets and contribute to team goals.
  • Maintain meticulous records in our CRM (e.g., Salesforce) to track all sales activities and progress.

Requirements
  • A Seasoned Sales Professional: You have 5+ years of B2C sales experience, preferably in financial services, fintech, or a related field. You have a track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas.
  • A Financial Services Expert: You have a strong understanding of financial planning concepts, including retirement, investments, insurance, and debt management.
  • Growth Seeker: Deep passion for learning and personal development
  • A Master Communicator: You are an excellent listener with the ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex ideas. You are comfortable building rapport and trust with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Tech-Savvy: You are proficient with CRM software and are comfortable with a remote, digitally-focused work environment.
  • A Self-Starter: You are highly motivated, disciplined, and able to manage your time effectively in a remote setting. You thrive in an autonomous environment and take ownership of your results.

Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: $170,000-$220,000 On-Target Earnings (OTE) with uncapped earning potential ($70,000-$80,000 base salary).
  • Ownership: Equity in a rapidly growing company.
  • Take the Time Off you Need: Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with employer match, company-paid short and long-term disability, life insurance options, and paid parental leave.
  • Professional Development: Certification and education reimbursement program
  • Location Flexibility: Work from anywhere in the United States
  • Impactful Work: Contribute to a mission-driven company that's transforming the financial lives of individuals nationwide

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
