The Role
We're looking for a strategic, data-driven Senior Manager, Email & Lifecycle Marketing to manage and grow lifecycle marketing programs for a portfolio of clients. Reporting to the Director, Email & Lifecycle Marketing, you'll help clients engage and retain customers through email, SMS, push notifications, loyalty, and other owned marketing channels.
The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in lifecycle marketing, customer journey optimization, campaign execution, and analytics. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams to develop, launch, and optimize lifecycle programs that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy and hands-on execution, thrives in a client-facing environment, and is passionate about using data to improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
You Will Be
Managing lifecycle marketing programs across a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise clients.
Supporting the development and execution of customer journey strategies focused on acquisition, engagement, retention, and reactivation.
Serving as a strategic partner to client stakeholders by providing recommendations informed by performance data and lifecycle best practices.
Leading regular reporting, campaign reviews, and performance discussions with clients.
Identifying opportunities to improve lifecycle performance through segmentation, automation, personalization, and testing.
CRM & Omnichannel MarketingDesigning and optimizing lifecycle programs across email, SMS, push notifications, loyalty, direct mail, and emerging channels.
Building scalable segmentation, personalization, and automation strategies.
Building and optimizing automated lifecycle campaigns, including welcome, nurture, cart abandonment, post-purchase, win-back programs, and more.
Supporting clients in expanding and optimizing their lifecycle marketing and automation programs.
Ensuring best practices in deliverability, compliance, consent management, and data governance.
Testing, Optimization & AnalyticsDeveloping and executing testing plans across messaging, creative, audience segments, and campaign cadence.
Monitoring campaign performance and identifying optimization opportunities.
Creating recurring reports and presenting key insights and recommendations to clients.
Tracking lifecycle KPIs, including engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue.
Monitoring deliverability and account reputation in-line with CAN-SPAM & GDPR.
Leveraging AI capabilities to streamline processes and develop new strategic ideas.
Martech & CRM ExpertiseWorking hands-on in ESP platforms such as Klaviyo, Attentive, Hubspot, SFMC, or others (we’re platform agnostic).
Partnering with analytics, engineering, paid media, and data teams to improve audience targeting, journey orchestration, and measurement.
You Must Have
4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, retention marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation using platforms such as SFMC, Pardot, Marketo, Klaviyo, Attentive, Braze, etc.
Experience executing and optimizing lifecycle marketing programs across multiple stages of the customer journey.
Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, retention, and loyalty strategies.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive mindset.
Experience contributing to lifecycle marketing programs that drive engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
Experience managing client relationships and presenting campaign performance and recommendations.
Experience with web analytics (GA4, etc) and setting up UTM tracking.
Ability to hit the ground running and pick up new skills.
