Overview:
At HubSpot, we believe leadership is one of the biggest levers for business success. As a Senior Manager of Leadership Development, you will design and deliver high-impact leadership experiences that fuel our culture, develop future-ready leaders, and support HubSpot’s continued growth. You’ll partner across functions to bring strategy to life, and you’ll coach and develop others to elevate their leadership at every level.

This is a highly cross-functional role for a systems thinker, program builder, and people developer who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Design and Deliver Scalable Programs: Lead the design, delivery, and evolution of leadership development programs that align with business priorities and drive measurable outcomes.

  • Enable Manager Capability: Create tools, resources, and learning experiences that build core people leadership capabilities across the company.
  • Drive Cross-Functional Execution: Partner with teams across Learning & Development, DEI, Talent, and Business Functions to ensure programs are aligned, integrated, and adopted.
  • Lead with Operational Excellence: Manage complex projects and timelines with discipline and foresight, ensuring flawless delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Coach and Develop Talent: Provide coaching and guidance to people managers and internal facilitators. Support development planning across teams.
  • Measure What Matters: Define success metrics, analyze impact, and continuously iterate on programs to ensure they’re effective and relevant.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has 7+ years of experience in leadership development, organizational development, or talent management
  • Has designed and led successful development programs for people leaders or senior leaders in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Brings a strong mix of instructional design, facilitation, coaching, and program management skills
  • Thrives in ambiguity and adapts quickly to changing business needs and priorities
  • Communicates with clarity and empathy across levels and functions
  • Loves solving problems in a collaborative, human-centered way
  • Is deeply invested in helping others grow and lead with purpose

Why HubSpot:
At HubSpot, leadership development isn’t a perk — it’s a business imperative. You’ll be part of a high-impact team that’s reimagining how leaders grow, lead, and shape our culture. If you’re ready to build what’s next in leadership, we’d love to meet you.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
