Sinclair is seeking a highly organized, solutions-oriented Senior Manager, Integrated and Experiential Marketing to lead the planning and execution of live events, experiential activations, brand experiences and campaigns, as well as hospitality programs for our podcast division.

Reporting to the AVP, Marketing, this role will serve as the operational and marketing lead responsible for bringing activations and campaigns from concept to execution. The Senior Manager will oversee event logistics, production, vendors, venues, budgets, timelines, staffing, talent requirements, campaign management and on-site operations while partnering closely with Marketing, Creative, Content, Sales, podcast talent, and external production partners.

The ideal candidate thrives in fast-moving live environments and combines strong event production and campaign experience with exceptional project management, financial discipline, and attention to detail. This individual is equally comfortable building a production timeline, managing vendors and budgets, troubleshooting on site, coordinating talent and VIP experiences, and collaborating with marketing teams to ensure each activation delivers against brand, audience, and business objectives.

This role requires hands-on involvement and travel for events and activations as needed.

Responsibilities

Live Event & Experiential Operations

  • Lead end-to-end operational planning and execution for live podcast events, experiential activations, consumer experiences, hospitality programs, partner events, and other priority brand moments.
  • Translate event concepts into detailed operational and production plans, including timelines, staffing plans, production schedules, run-of-show documents, budgets, vendor requirements, and on-site execution plans.
  • Manage venue sourcing and coordination, including site visits, contracts, production requirements, load-in/load-out schedules, venue rules, security, access, catering, parking, and other logistical needs.
  • Coordinate technical and production requirements including audio, lighting, staging, video, scenic, signage, power, internet, livestreaming, recording, and other event infrastructure.
  • Oversee event vendors and production partners from sourcing and bidding through contracting, execution, invoicing, and reconciliation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive event timelines, production schedules, contact sheets, run-of-show documents, floor plans, credentialing plans, and other operational materials.
  • Lead on-site event operations, serving as a primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, talent, vendors, venues, production teams, and partners.
  • Anticipate operational risks and develop contingency plans to address production, talent, venue, weather, technology, staffing, and other potential event challenges.
  • Coordinate event staffing, security, registration, guest management, hospitality, transportation, catering, and other event services as required.
  • Partner with appropriate internal and external stakeholders to ensure events meet applicable safety, accessibility, permitting, insurance, and venue requirements.

Podcast Talent & Guest Experience

  • Partner with podcast teams and talent representatives to understand and execute talent requirements for live events and appearances.
  • Coordinate talent schedules, green rooms, transportation, credentials, hospitality, rehearsals, backstage operations, and other on-site needs.
  • Support the development and delivery of high-quality audience, talent, client, partner, and VIP experiences.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when working with high-profile talent, clients, executives, and external partners.

Experiential & Brand Activations

  • Partner with Marketing, Creative, Content, Social, Sales, and podcast teams to operationalize experiential concepts and bring brand experiences to life.
  • Help evaluate concepts for operational feasibility, production requirements, timing, budget, scalability, and audience experience.
  • Ensure physical activations accurately and consistently reflect brand strategy, creative direction, sponsorship commitments, and program objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the attendee experience through thoughtful programming, production, hospitality, technology, content capture, and physical environment.
  • Lead campaigns from initial strategy and concept development through execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis.
  • Develop clear campaign objectives, audience strategies, messaging, channel plans, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Content teams to support opportunities to extend live experiences through social, digital, video, audio, and other channels.

Client & Partner Activations

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams on sponsored experiences, client activations, custom events, and integrated partnership programs.
  • Translate sold concepts and sponsorship commitments into clear operational deliverables and production requirements.
  • Participate in client and partner meetings when appropriate to communicate event plans, production considerations, timelines, and execution details.
  • Track sponsorship and partner deliverables to ensure contractual event elements are executed accurately.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, agencies, venues, production companies, fabricators, experiential agencies, and other external partners.

Budget & Vendor Management

  • Develop and manage project-level event and activation budgets in partnership with Marketing leadership and Finance.
  • Solicit and evaluate vendor bids, negotiate costs and scopes of work, and identify opportunities to maximize production value while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Manage purchase orders, contracts, invoices, deposits, vendor payments, expense tracking, forecasts, and post-event reconciliation.
  • Maintain accurate budget trackers and communicate financial risks, changes, and opportunities throughout the lifecycle of each event.
  • Project Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as the operational owner for multiple simultaneous events, campaigns and activations, establishing clear timelines, responsibilities, dependencies, and deliverables.
  • Lead regular production and planning meetings with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Proactively identify roadblocks, resolve issues, and communicate changes that could impact scope, budget, timing, or execution.
  • Maintain organized event documentation, vendor records, production materials, budgets, contracts, and post-event reporting.
  • Conduct post-event debriefs and document key learnings, operational improvements, and recommendations for future programs.
  • Contribute to broader Marketing and podcast division initiatives, special projects, and live-event strategy as needed.

Requirements

  • 5–7 years of experience in live event production, integrated marketing, experiential marketing, event operations, entertainment production, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex live events and experiential activations from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event reconciliation.
  • Strong knowledge of event production and operations, including venues, AV, staging, lighting, audio, scenic, staffing, hospitality, transportation, security, and event logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, production partners, venues, and workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills with experience developing production timelines, run-of-show documents, budgets, staffing plans, and detailed operational plans.
  • Experience managing event budgets, vendor estimates, purchase orders, invoices, forecasts, and financial reconciliation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in fast-paced live-event environments.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Exceptional organization and attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across Marketing, Creative, Content, Sales, Production, Finance, talent teams, and external partners.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work evenings, weekends, and nontraditional hours as required by event schedules.
  • Experience working with talent, creators, athletes, celebrities, executives, clients, or VIP guests is preferred.
  • Experience in podcasts, media, entertainment, sports, experiential marketing, or live events is strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, Production, Business, or a related field preferred.

The base salary compensationrange for this roleis $110,000 to $130,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates’ relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
