As the Sr. Manager of Growth and Content Strategy for Dotdash Meredith, you will be a key member of our Growth Team reporting to the Sr. Director of Growth and Content Strategy. Tasked with reshaping the future of publishing, you will ideate and execute cutting-edge and holistic growth programs for our premium Finance brand, Investopedia.com.
Hybrid 3x a week- (New York)
In-office Expectations: This position is hybrid in-office, with the ability to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.

We collaborate closely with editorial, product, and revenue teams to develop innovative strategies that expand our reach and enhance user engagement. As part of this team, you’ll be at the forefront of content innovation, leveraging data-driven insights to shape the future of digital publishing. We strive to blend editorial excellence with strategic optimization, ensuring that our content not only reaches the right audiences but also delivers meaningful value.
About Your Contributions:

Drive editorial strategy with a focus on news and trending content that aligns with Investopedia’s audience and business goals

Identify and capitalize on search trends and timely topics to support both our newsroom and Google Discover initiatives

Monitor search demand, competitive landscape, and emerging finance trends to identify growth opportunities for our content and product offerings

Analyze revenue performance to inform content decisions that balance editorial integrity with business outcomes

Design and execute SEO tests to refine and optimize editorial strategies

Lead and refine SEO strategy, empowering editorial teams to make smarter daily execution decisions—including topic selection, content formatting, organization, and implementing user-first improvements backed by data

Establish and maintain best practices for finance content across Investopedia’s brands

Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, product, revenue, testing teams, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment in content strategy and performance goals
The Role’s Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:
About you:

3-5 years of SEO experience, preferably in-house at a large financial publisher, or from an enterprise-level digital consulting agency

Track record of delivering (and communicating about) business results from investments

Experience analyzing large data sets generated from multiple sources, including Web analytics, site crawls (Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl), and large third-party SEO databases

Exceptional Excel skills

Strong Web-development fluency—must be able to write precise technical SEO requirements

Familiarity with analytics tools (rank tracking, Google Analytics, Google Trends, GSC, Looker, Newzwhip, Newsdash)

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience scaling copy and editorial operations in a high-growth environment

Pay Range
Salary: New York: $105,000.00 - $125,000.00
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith’s total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives.
