With AI redefining the computing paradigm, solutions must evolve to unify innovations in software models, compilers, platforms, networking, and semiconductors. Our diverse team of technologists have developed a high performance RISC-V CPU from scratch, and share a passion for AI and a deep desire to build the best AI platform possible. We value collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to solving hard problems. We are growing our team and looking for contributors of all seniorities.

We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Global People Operations to lead and strengthen how People Operations runs across our global footprint.

This role will oversee a distributed team supporting People Operations across the US, Canada, EMEA, and APAC and will be responsible for building a more consistent, scalable, and well-run global operating model across both direct entities and EOR populations. The work spans the full employee lifecycle, with particular focus on employee data integrity, documentation, compliance routines, onboarding, and operational excellence.

You will partner closely with the Director, People Operations and Programs to improve how global People Operations is designed, while also leading the team responsible for delivering day-to-day support across regions.

The right person will bring strong judgment, team leadership, and the ability to turn complex, multi-country operations into clear, repeatable, and trustworthy processes.

This role is remote within the United States, with a preference for candidates located near our main hub in Santa Clara, CA.

We welcome candidates at various experience levels for this role. During the interview process, candidates will be assessed for the appropriate level, and offers will align with that level, which may differ from the one in this posting.

Who You Are

  • Deep expertise in HR operations, compliance, and HR systems  in high-growth, global tech companies.
  • Proven ability to scale HR processes, systems, and teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments, with deep expertise in HRIS platforms such as Rippling, Workday, or similar systems.
  • Strategic, data-driven operator with strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a track record of translating insight into effective operational execution.
  • Strong global HR foundation, including knowledge of employment law and compliance, paired with exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional partnership skills.

What We Need

  • Lead global People Operations across multiple entities and EOR populations, ensuring consistent, high-quality support through partners such as Oyster, Deel, Safeguard Global, and similar providers.
  • Drive operational excellence and scale by improving People Operations through automation, AI, workflow tools, Jira, and broader systems and process redesign.
  • Elevate the employee experience by strengthening onboarding, orientation, and day-to-day employee support with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and care.
  • Build scalable global processes by designing workflows, controls, and regional handoffs that increase consistency and efficiency, while partnering with Programs to embed initiatives into sustainable operational execution.

What You Will Learn

  • How cross-functional execution drives stronger onboarding and compliance.
  • To improve workflows, processes, and team operating rhythms for scale.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
