About the role:
The Senior Manager of Digital Experience supports the strategy and performance of Starburstdata.com. They collaborate across marketing, product, and sales to ensure the site delivers an excellent user experience, generates quality leads, and supports campaign goals. This role optimizes content for SEO and conversion, and partners with performance marketing on paid media alignment.
They will manage agency partners and oversee key projects, including site enhancements, user journeys, strategic campaigns, and analytics reporting. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both the creative and technical aspects of web project management, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to turn marketing goals into engaging, high-performing web experiences.
As a Senior Manager, Digital Experience at Starburst you will:
- Work with internal stakeholders (product marketing, community, recruiting, sales, etc.) to understand their evolving business needs and goals to help define the web strategy, content, and relevant features that support those goals.
- Monitor, track and report on web KPIs, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and internal teams on enhancements, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
- Develop and implement SEO and data-driven conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve website performance and increase conversion rates.
- Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research to better understand user behavior and uncover areas for improvement.
- Partner with performance marketing to align paid search, social, and display with web goals. Track and report on those goals, providing insights for continuous improvement.
- Design and execute A/B and multivariate tests to optimize key website elements, user flows, and conversion funnels.
- Provide actionable recommendations and insights based on data analysis to drive continuous improvements in conversion performance.
- Collaborate closely with Product Marketing and Content teams to align campaigns with go-to-market (GTM) strategies and business objectives
- Own end-to-end chatbot strategy, including conversation design, playbook development, routing logic, and integrations with marketing/sales workflows.
- Analyze and optimize chatbot performance (engagement, conversion, routing) to deliver personalized, on-brand experiences that support GTM goals and pipeline impact.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in CRO and digital engagement.
Some of the things we look for:
- 5–7 years of experience in web management, SEO, and performance marketing.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic front-end web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).
- Experience optimizing user experience and site performance leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data.
- Adept at working cross-functionally with product, marketing, design, operations, and external agency teams to deliver results.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills; able to interpret campaign data and optimize accordingly.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Starburst’s product offerings or the broader data infrastructure ecosystem (e.g., Trino, Presto, data lakes).
- Ability to Travel: This role will require occasional in-person travel for purposes including but not limited to new hire onboarding, team and department offsites, customer engagements, and other company events. Actual travel expectations may vary by role and business needs.
