The team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Manager and Team Leader for our Cost Engineering team in Singapore to work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement and Finance teams to ensure our cost competitiveness. As the Senior Manager Cost Engineering within Group Finance team, you will have a significant contribution to the profitability of our inventions and innovations. Your work will have a direct impact on our product cost, our product designs, and our manufacturing processes.

  

About the role
  • Lead and enable our team in Singapore to drive competitor teardowns and Design-to-Cost activities.

  • Establish and govern state of the art Cost & Value Engineering methods and processes.

  • Plan and assign resources for competitor teardown/benchmarks.

  • Plan, prepare, and lead Design-to-Cost workshops.

  • Lead and guide the Design-to-Cost team to support Should Cost analyses and negotiations.

  • Manage Cost Engineering processes and methods including digitalization.

  • Support strategic and operative planning for Cost Management.

 

About you
  • A degree in Engineering with experiences in process and part optimization (electronics and/or mechanics).

  • Team leadership experiences.

  • In-depth knowledge and proven track record in Cost Engineering.

  • In-depth knowledge on manufacturing technologies – understanding of cost structure and margin structure of purchased and in-house manufactured parts.
