General Description:

The Senior Manager, Costing & Controlling SAP Solutions is a critical role to ensure the support, sustainment and growth of the SAP Capabilities at BeOne. The candidate must have SAP Controlling (Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project Systems, Cost Centers, CO-PA) expertise as a core skillset with a strong understanding for the cross functional dependencies of other modules/processes into Finance. The SAP Solutions Senior Manager will actively manage, support and improve capabilities within SAP while engaging with various stakeholders globally for processes and integrations. A strong understanding of the SAP FI/CO is required with particular emphasis on the ability to hands on work in configuration, navigate & advise the end to end processes of Order to Cash & Procure to Pay, enable intercompany and work with colleagues to achieve a broader solution. This candidate will develop/execute roadmaps and enhance capabilities in partnership with business stakeholders and partner with other GTS solution managers handling all aspects of the solution lifecycle, business engagement  and audit.

The Senior Manager, Costing & Controlling SAP Solutions is expected to:

  • Work with business leads to seek out, develop, and help implement strategic initiatives for improved efficiency and productivity

  • Research solutions (process, technology, data) to evaluate deficiencies and identify areas of improvements

  • Build/Define business processes for the SAP Controlling + cross functional Capability

  • Gain project management experience across planning and execution phases of initiative

  • Serve as a solution owner for a dedicate application/ business process area

  • Adhere to audit standards for the applications supported

Essential Functions of the job:

As a Senior Manager, Costing & Controlling SAP Solutions, you will gain exposure to a variety of enterprise solutions and business groups helping drive alignment of internal process with targeted solution initiatives. You will:

  • Be a GTS solution manager responsible for dedicated solution scope, operational run activities & solution improvements

  • Partner with business and other solution managers to develop the appropriate roadmap of activities including operational support, minor/major changes and new implementations

  • Have strong hands on working knowledge of SAP Controlling with specific expertise in Product Costing, Material Ledger, Project Systems and CO-PA. Strong cross module integration on dependencies and capabilities required.

  • Engage in cross functional discussions as the key integration point of contact across order to cash, procure to pay, manufacturing and various 3rd party integrations

  • Ability to engage in SAP Finance general discussions and support intercompany processes

  • Explore areas of less familiarity to help strengthen BeiGene’s solution maturity

  • Gain exposure to technical business processes, developing forward-thinking systems prototypes that promote increased efficiency and productivity on multiple levels

  • Maintain and improve management plans for projects, with attention to transparent communication at all levels

  • Accountable for specific activities/applications within the Audit process formalizing procedures and service as point of contact

  • Perform, evaluate, and communicate through various stages of initiatives.

  • Determine and develop user requirements for systems in production.

  • Be involved in various stages of an initiative: analyzing existing processes and designing, through to delivering and integrating the solutions

  • Collaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills

  • Lead project work from origination  thru delivery.

  • Performing application design activities (e.g., writing functional designs)

  • Collect and conduct gap business requirements and software to drive fit/gap analysis

  • Creating functional requirements as an input to application design

  • Assisting with build, test, and deploy activities

  • Performing testing work

  • Management of vendor resources and prioritization of initiatives

Your daily responsibilities will vary by project, but you may find yourself:

  • Partnering with Business + GTS colleagues on prioritizations

  • Driving implementation of new technologies (from business intake, RFP, vendor selection, implementation, run)

  • Adopting existing solutions and processes for operational run

  • Analyzing and documenting current business processes and technologies

  • Designing and testing new business processes, capabilities, and technologies

  • Developing communications and training materials

  • Building portions of the application

  • Focusing on program management

Salary Range: $134,800.00 - $179,800.00 annually

BeOne is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
