Boeing Global Services is looking for a Senior Manager, Commercial Modifications Product Development and Business Development Engineering to lead teams in Long Beach, Seattle, and international sites. The selected candidate will be required to work 100% onsite at the listed location with a travel requirement of approximately 25%.

Position Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for BGS Product development efforts that align with Commercial Modifications and Maintenance organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with BGS Business Development to innovate and introduce new product offerings.
- Lead and mentor engineering teams to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, enabling business growth.
- Lead execution of BGS Product Development engineering, manage engineering opportunity & risks across the portfolio while driving right to left mindset for execution.
- Provide engineering leadership communication and collaboration with internal and external customers for product development statement of work.
- Lead the development of Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) capability for FAA certification, and integration with other certification capacity projects (ANAC, EASA).
- Lead cross-business unit engineering collaboration (BCA/BDS/BGS) for BGS Commercial Modifications product offerings.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading or managing an engineering organization.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing/implementing strategic plans, delivering on commitments and results.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with external customers to resolve complex issues.
- Experience and familiarity with the FAA type certification regulatory framework and oversight processes.
- Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives.
- Experience leading multi-skilled global teams.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience in a leadership role leading diverse teams, initiatives, or projects to meet business objectives and influence change.
- Experience managing and/or leading a team either formally or informally, with the ability to provide guidance, mentorship, and support to team members.
- Experience with team building, developing and motivating employees.
- Wide range of engineering experience across engineering functions and business units.
- Strong background in customer interaction and negotiation.
- Product Development background is a plus.
- LEAN acumen.

Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $191,250 – $258,750
