Boeing's Commercial Modification Center - Victorville, CA (CMC-V) is hiring a Senior Manager, CMC-V Business Development Leader (Level L) to lead business development for the site.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Be accountable for the site's financial performance, including sourcing future revenue and controlling costs to meet the CMC-V LRBP as part of the CMM&DS Maintenance Services portfolio
  • Develop and staff the "front office" to secure future commercial work at CMC-V
  • Coordinate with BGS operations (GTO) and the site leader to develop facility skylines, slot availability, and scheduling methodology
  • Serve as primary contact for BGS Sales & Marketing and Customers for CMC-V to respond to RFIs & RFPs, and represent the program in the contracting and change board processes
  • Serve as the primary contact for BT&E and BCA to coordinate joint use of CMC-V as necessary to support flight test, AOG, and production
  • Develop, deploy, and continuously improve the CMC-V business processes, including: estimating, proposal response, ASR development and management, pricing, invoicing, customer reporting, skyline management, and performance metrics (CPI, SPI, etc.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Candidates must have at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course "Exploring Leadership
  • 3+ years of Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) experience
  • 3+ years of managing customer relationships
  • 5+ years of program management experience
  • Strong communications skills up to internal and external senior-level executives
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 5+ years of large commercial aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) experience
  • 5+ years of directly interfacing with airlines on commercial contracts
  • 7+ years of program management, campaign management, or business development experience
  • Demonstrated history of global communication skills and interface with internal and external senior-level executives
  • Previous experience in Program Management Best Practices (PMBP), including project planning & scheduling and/or skyline management
  • Previous experience in commercial aircraft business development
  • Masters degree or higher

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 180,200 - 243,800
