We're looking for a Senior Insurance Product Manager to help build the most loved car insurance on the planet. Our Car line is growing fast, and this role sits at the center of it — shaping strategy, driving profitability, and making sure every product decision moves us closer to an experience that's fast, simple, and genuinely great for customers. You'll work closely with Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting as a core member of our Insurance Product team.

In this role you'llOwn the strategy and roadmap for key areas of Lemonade Car, setting priorities that drive profitable growth across new customer segments and channels
Build, lead, and coach a high-performing team of insurance product managers and analysts — setting clear goals, developing talent, and fostering a culture of ownership and accountability
Lead your team through the shift to AI-first ways of working, championing adoption, redesigning workflows, and helping each person build new skills
Design and continuously improve the processes that move product changes from concept through regulatory approval and into production — raising the bar on speed, quality, and efficiency
Advance our countrywide Car strategy through rating plan enhancements, coverage improvements, and increased underwriting sophistication
Align Insurance, Engineering, Data, and Product around shared priorities — surfacing trade-offs, removing blockers, and keeping the team moving fast
Serve as a trusted voice to executive leadership, presenting strategy, performance metrics, and recommendations with clarity and conviction
8+ years of P&C experience, with a minimum of 6 years in personal lines car insurance state or product management, required
1+ year direct management experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and driving action
Strategic thinker with an ownership mentality, willing to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions
Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
Strong collaborative spirit and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a remote environment
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000 - $160,000 plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Our competitive total rewards package includes comprehensive health & wellness coverage, equity, a 401(k) plan with employer match, 20 paid vacation days, and parental leave.
