As Veriforce's Senior Industry Marketing Manager, you will be the strategic leader driving growth within our Utilities and Telecom sectors. You’ll own the entire marketing funnel—from top-of-funnel acquisition through to pipeline acceleration and closed revenue—and play a critical role in aligning marketing efforts with sales objectives. Your work will include campaign planning and execution, demand generation, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies tailored to high-value prospects and customers.

You will collaborate closely with Sales, SDRs, and Product Marketing to develop targeted go-to-market strategies that generate qualified leads, drive engagement, and increase revenue. Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive the end-to-end marketing strategy for the Utilities and Telecom verticals, ensuring marketing programs directly impact revenue growth.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, content marketing, events, ABM initiatives, and demand generation programs to support pipeline and revenue goals.
  • Implement and optimize Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, working closely with Sales to engage high-value accounts with personalized outreach.
  • Track, measure, and optimize the full marketing funnel, ensuring accurate attribution of marketing programs to revenue impact.
  • Conduct competitive landscape analysis and customer research to identify emerging trends, white-space opportunities, and areas for differentiation.
  • Foster a strong partnership with Sales and SDR teams, ensuring marketing efforts are aligned with sales priorities and effectively support pipeline acceleration.
  • Utilize data analytics, campaign tracking, and performance measurement to assess ROI and continuously refine marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in B2B marketing, revenue marketing, or product marketing, ideally within SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • Proven success in campaign planning and execution, including multi-channel strategies that drive lead generation, engagement, and conversion.
  • Hands-on experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM), demand generation, and sales enablement in enterprise sales environments.
  • Deep understanding of SEO, SEM, digital and traditional advertising, events, social media, marketing automation platforms, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
  • Strong data-driven mindset, with expertise in campaign analytics, pipeline tracking, and marketing attribution models.
  • Leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
  • Industry expertise in Utilities, Energy, or Telecommunications is highly preferred.

This role is ideal for a strategic, results-driven marketer who thrives in high-growth, data-driven environments and is eager to take ownership of marketing strategy in a critical industry vertical.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
