The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Human Resources (HR) Manager to join our team in El Segundo, CA. This position will act as the HR Vice President providing Human Resource capabilities to Millennium Space Systems (MSS), a subsidiary of the Boeing company.

Specifically, this HR Leadership position will directly partner with the Millennium Space Systems Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Leadership Team in support of the company's mission success. This role leads and has responsibility for all aspects of HR to include total rewards, talent management (recruiting, career growth, and more), HR processes, policies and procedures and other activities to drive results and support, counsel and educate managers and employees on HR strategies, plans and issues. This position provides oversight and approval of HR approaches, products and processes and recommends courses of action to the CEO and Leadership Team.
The ideal candidate will leverage expertise and data-driven insights to shape HR strategy, lead the HR team, and implement continuous improvements in end-to-end HR processes.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Work with the CEO and Leadership Team to integrate and implement strategic priorities and to drive company-wide functional talent strategies
  • Lead the MSS HR team to deliver real time engagement and solutions with the MSS leaders and employees
  • Drive development and achievement of strategic organization and talent plans, reduce complexities and enhance the value of HR solutions
  • Serve as the Millennium Space Systems HR knowledge expert, consultant, and strategic adviser, working to drive HR goals and objectives from a consistent, company perspective
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand talent needs ensuring alignment, reducing redundancy and achieving results
  • Provide regular updates of key staffing metrics and progress to date
  • Develop and execute strategies and plans such as talent management, leadership development, workforce planning, organization optimization, performance and career development, and workforce development
  • Anticipate future HR trends and identify innovative opportunities and programs to drive HR strategy within the company strategy
  • Help lead HR transformation while attracting, retaining, and developing the best team and talent
  • Partner with the broader Compensation team, Finance, and business partners to effectively design, communicate, and assure that employees understand how they are being rewarded
  • Provide leadership to internal management regarding Union Relations
  • Lead talent acquisition and workforce planning initiatives, including scalable recruiting processes, onboarding, and training programs to support organizational growth
  • Develop and implement retention strategies, employee engagement programs, and career development frameworks
  • Drive operational excellence in HR systems, data analytics, and compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements
  • Advise executive leadership on HR strategy, organizational health, and culture
  • Cultivate an inclusive, high-performance culture through communication, recognition, and manager enablement

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience partnering and strategizing HR initiatives with senior leaders
  • 5+ years of experience in leadership either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • 5+ years of experience executing strategies and managing associated projects
  • 5+ years of experience in change management/integration

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 10+ years of HR experience and a demonstrated progression in leadership roles
  • Experience managing and successfully leading HR strategy and process development and implementation across matrixes teams in a fast-paced, agile company
  • Experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships and proficiency in written and verbal communication
  • Experience attracting, managing, and developing a high performing team
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Experience in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies, including workforce planning, executive recruiting, and scalable hiring processes, while leveraging recruiting analytics and market insights to drive effective talent strategies
  • Experience in organizational development, career architecture, and leadership pathways
  • Experience with modern HRIS platforms, analytics, and workforce dashboards

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $195,500 - $264,500
