You will be a key member of the growing engineering team for a new project. You will be
responsible for all aspects of the development related to graphics and visual presentation of the game. You will be a bridge between the engineering and hardware and the creative team and their game vision.
Responsiblities
- Architect, refactor and maintain rendering pipelines and features
- Design, write, debug and refine rendering systems, features, tools and infrastructure as needed
- Work with the technical art team to develop specifications and new graphics features
- Optimize graphics and effects to maximize performance and efficiency on CPU and GPU.
- Optimize systems for performance across a wide range of devices, from mobile to PC to high-end console
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with graphics related responsibilities in commercial game project development
- Advanced knowledge of C++ programming language applied in various areas of project development, other languages are a plus
- Strong knowledge of shader languages and GPU hardware, and performance analysis tools
- Strong math/3d geometry skills
- Authorization to work in the United States

- Experience with deep performance optimization and tuning

The annual salary range for this position in Los Angeles is $150,000 – $210,000. The salary offered may vary based on the candidate’s location, qualifications, experience and relevant expertise, among other factors. The range indicated is for base salary only and does not reflect the total compensation package, including bonus, benefits, etc.
