The Senior Graphic Designer creates eye-catching visuals using computer software, prepares technical and non-technical visual presentations through designing art and copy layouts for publication. Collects and analyzes data to make informed organizational decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates with creative personnel, marketing, and other graphic professionals to gather information and materials needed for design.  
  • Proficient in print production for a variety of items from graphics to social media and some apparel.   
  • Must be able to design and execute in a fast-paced environment and meet our client's needs and expectations   
  • Ability to learn compliance related laws and requirements for cannabis packaging. 
  • Illustrates established design concepts by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.  
  • Prepares finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment.  
  • Assists with the coordination of photography, artwork, and printing.  
  • Has knowledge of and utilizes applications such as Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Adobe Creative Suite, and HTML. 
  • Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.  
  • Possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.  
  • May act as a lead or first-level supervisor.  
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to a subordinate group. 
  • You will be creating eye-catching visuals for in-store displays, in-store signage, digital collateral, etc.   
  • You must be proficient in print production for a variety of items from graphics to social media and some apparel.   
  • Must be able to design and execute in a fast-paced environment and meet our client's needs and expectations   
  • Ability to learn compliance related laws and requirements for cannabis packaging. 
  • Diligent, Punctual and Ready to work! 
  • Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

Technical Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficient / Expert in Adobe Acrobat & Adobe Illustrator (print prod focused expertise)  
  • Detail Oriented & Organized  
  • Good communication skills  
  • Good comprehension of tasks being assigned  
  • Ability to project manage based on priorities 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Must be punctual, stable, reliable, able to follow instructions, and detail oriented. 
  • Works independently and exercises excellent judgement and initiative.  
  • Coachable, highly motivated, and driven to succeed.

  • Cannabis Regulation (State & Local): Demonstrates basic knowledge of cannabis industry regulations to minimize compliance-related risks.

  • Goal Setting: Works toward SMART goals that align with departmental business objectives enabling teams to work towards a common goal.

Education & Experience:

  • 4-6 years of graphic designer experience  
  • 4-6 years of marketing experience   
  • Experience in a legal cannabis market highly preferred. 

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be over 21 years of age. 
  • Available for on-site operations work Monday-Friday. 
  • Work revolves around objectives, projects, and priorities- not hours; must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed. 
  • Willingness and ability to undergo cross-training in various roles within the department as required.  
  • Prolonged periods of standing, sitting at a desk, and/or working on a computer. 
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time. 
  • Be able to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and twist for prolonged periods of time.  
  • Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift 15 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.  
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
