The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsoft’s Commercial Strategy to execution plans and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible across the Americas. Our team drives regional plans, insights and execution excellence, bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact at scale. 

The Americas ATU Sales Enablement team is seeking a Senior Go to Market (GTM) Manager to help accelerate Microsoft's Frontier Transformation strategy across the Americas. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, customer transformation, field activation, and services execution, helping customers move from AI experimentation to enterprise-wide business transformation.

As part of a newly integrated Product GTM team serving both ATU and One Services, you will develop and activate go-to-market strategies that connect industry priorities, customer outcomes, solution conversations, services engagements, and field execution. You will partner across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Services, and Solution Area organizations to create scalable motions that accelerate customer adoption and business impact.

The successful candidate enjoys connecting strategy to execution, influencing without authority, and leading through ambiguity in a rapidly evolving AI market.

Responsibilities

GTM Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute GTM strategies that accelerate customer adoption of Microsoft's Frontier Transformation priorities.
  • Translate worldwide and Americas priorities into actionable plans, programs, activations, and field guidance.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities, market trends, and customer signals that inform GTM investments and execution priorities.
  • Partner across Solution Areas, Customer Success, Marketing, Industry teams, and One Services to create connected customer motions.

Customer Transformation Activation

  • Curate, create and activate repeatable customer engagement motions aligned to Frontier Transformation priorities.
  • Connect customer discovery, industry use cases, business outcomes, solution conversations, and services-led execution.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate customer maturity, readiness, adoption, and value realization.
  • Enable field teams to engage customers through outcome-based conversations and transformation journeys.

Field Enablement & Adoption

  • Design scalable readiness, communications, and activation strategies that drive adoption across the Americas.
  • Build and curate seller-facing resources, playbooks, frameworks, and tools.
  • Partner with Operating Units and field stakeholders to ensure GTM priorities land effectively in customer-facing teams.
  • Gather field insights and feedback to continuously improve Microsoft’s GTM approach.
  • Build and deliver enablement with an AI-first mindset, leveraging Microsoft toolset to enable discovery, content variants,

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead complex stakeholder networks across Sales, Services, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Industry organizations.
  • Influence strategic priorities and drive alignment across teams with differing objectives.
  • Establish operating rhythms, governance, and execution frameworks that support business goals.
  • Represent field and customer needs back into Microsoft's product and GTM organizations.

Business Measurement & Insights

  • Define success metrics and business health indicators for assigned GTM motions.
  • Leverage customer, sales, and usage signals to identify activation opportunities.
  • Monitor adoption, effectiveness, and business impact of programs and initiatives.
  • Deliver executive-ready insights and recommendations that influence planning and investment decisions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years marketing strategy, business planning, sales enablement, business development, technical pre-sales, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years marketing strategy, GTM Strategy, sales, business planning/management, sales enablement, operations, business development, consulting, or related work experience.
  • Experience developing and executing GTM or sales strategies in a technology environment.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Experience connecting customer business outcomes to technology solutions.
  • Experience working with enterprise customers and executive stakeholders.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including executive communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics into actionable guidance.

Field Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
