The role will play a key role in bridging the gap between finance and technology, ensuring the accuracy of information derived from our financial systems, and identifying process improvement opportunities. What You will Do:
- Serve as the tech lead for their functional area and systems, owning the technology roadmap and improvement initiatives.
- Provide end-user systems support, validate system integrity, and maintain security and access to Tax and P2P systems, including Vertex, OneSource, Oracle ERP, and Coupa.
- Work hands-on with internal customers and stakeholders to understand business processes and drive business transformation and process improvement while providing technical solutions as an internal consultant.
- Be a key member of cross-functional project teams and assist with requirements gathering, functional design, process design, testing, training, and defining support procedures
- Build and maintain dashboards and queries in Snowflake to manage and validate financial data across Chewy's Financial Systems and Data Warehouse environments
What You Will Need:
- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting, Finance, or MIS (e-commerce a plus)
- Experience with Tax systems and procure-to-pay, including Vertex, OneSource, Oracle ERP, and Coupa.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehouse environments
- Experience with end-to-end tax processes from a technology lens, including sales and use tax, federal and state income tax filing, and income tax provision.
- Experience with procure-to-pay processes and technologies.
- Experience with SOX/Internal Controls.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates.
- Strong interpersonal skills are necessary to explain system issues to non-technical personnel.
- Must be able to prioritize work and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be effective working independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to learn new concepts and applications quickly.
- Demonstrate an analytical, methodical, and creative approach to resolving issues.
Bonus:
- Experience with multiple federal and state tax tools, including CorpTax and OneSource
- Prior experience in retail and high-volume e-commerce industries.
- Experience with Oracle EPM - including Planning, Close & Consolidation, Data Management, and Account Reconciliation
- Experience with Oracle Cloud OTBI
- Oracle Certifications are a Plus
