What You’ll Do:

  • Nurture a world-class and engaging work culture for our remote workforce
  • Welcome new hires through a remote onboarding environment and offer guidance to company culture, tools, and resources
  • Manage swag programs, including internal and employee event-related merchandise
  • Design and run recognition programs (e.g., through peer-to-peer platforms like Bonusly) to build a culture of appreciation
  • Manage Slack engagement, keeping employees informed and connected
  • Plan and run virtual events and recognition programs to strengthen community
  • Support in-person events in partnership with Employee Experience team
  • Develop and manage content strategies that showcase Underdog’s programs and culture
  • Support Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) by guiding and assisting ERG leads
  • Coordinate employee gifts to celebrate milestones and express support for major life events
  • Develop meaningful and unique engagement programs to boost employee satisfaction and connection

Who you are:

  • 3+ years of experience in employee engagement, HR, or a similar field, ideally in a fast-paced remote setting
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills; able to engage and influence employees at all levels
  • Creative problem-solver with a proactive mindset for improving the employee experience
  • Ability to understand and uphold our visual brand identity
  • Passionate about building community and creating a sense of belonging in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel, as needed, for major employee events

Even better if you have:

  • Experience planning and execution of in-person events, ensuring smooth logistics and a positive experience
  • Experience designing event and program collateral, ensuring alignment with brand and event goals


Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $120,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.

  • Unlimited PTO (we're extremely flexible with the exception of the first few weeks before & into the NFL season)
