JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business and Data Platforms team builds and grows enterprise-scale technologies to support operations across FOX. The Senior Director, Technology will collaborate with business stakeholders and technology colleagues to design and implement streamlined workflows, insightful dashboards, and low-friction user experiences. You will define and develop unified user experiences across platforms like Salesforce, Rightsline and other business systems, setting a benchmark for operational excellence. You have experience leading high-value initiatives across Rights Management and Content Sales, building strategic, thoughtful platforms.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build strong relationships with Executive stakeholders across FOX to understand how business applications can address the demands of their jobs.

  • Collaborate closley with the FOX Entertainment Global team to understand and solve complex rights availability challenges across domestic and international windows.

  • Support the ongoing effort to centralize rights in/rights out across all FOX business units within the Rightsline platform.

  • Evaluate technology platforms needed for the delivery of FOX media assets to global distribution partners.

  • Help define the approach and technology needed for meaningful interactions with 3rd party buyers of FOX’s content. 

  • Develop systems integration strategies across the FOX Entertainment ecosystem.

  • Design impactful and elegant dashboards and reports that provide access to meaningful data from across the enterprise and deliver insights.

  • Refine workflows and data integrations to modernize and streamline operations.

  • Ensure adoption of new processes and technologies by engaging with end-users and stakeholders consistently throughout the lifecycle of projects.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, and quality assurance engineers to bring designs to life.

  • Manage vendor relationships with technology providers: scope engagements, guide delivery to achieve quality expectations, own budgeting and billing.

  • Support the development of roadmaps and tactical plans to achieve strategic goals.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Solid understanding of media rights in/out, participations, and residuals

  • ​​Experience designing technology applications geared to large employee or consumer populations

  • Familiarity with the Salesforce platform, Mulesoft APIs, and data integration strategies.

  • Expertise in the configuration and management of Rightsline

  • A passion for problem-solving and continuous learning.

  • Experience designing technological applications geared towards large employee or consumer populations.

  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to:

    • communicate complex ideas clearly using everyday language.

    • facilitate meaningful conversations (understand requirements, uncover value-added features, and align expectations) among cross-functional teams.

    • effectively leverage various media: emails, presentations, process flows, high-level data diagrams, and wireframes

    • design reports, dashboards, and information flows.

  • A history of demonstrating the responsibilities, skills, and attributes described in this job description.

  • Adaptability; comfortable in a dynamic, ever-changing environment.

  • Familiarity with agile concepts including backlog management and retrospective.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $179,000.00-236,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
