CWA Merchant Services by North is an independent sales organization sponsored by Merrick Bank, the 15th-largest acquiring bank in the U.S., as rated by the Nielsen Report in 2018. CWA offers expedited underwriting, competitive rates, and a suite of products tailored to each merchant's needs.

The Sr. Director of Sales is responsible for leading and directing the Direct Sales teams for the CWA Payments businesses.  This position is responsible for meeting or exceeding sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling, leveraging technology and improving processes.

What you'll do:

  • Create a culture of success, accountability, and goal achievement.

  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving sales goals.

  • Build and develop the direct sales GTM. 

  • Define the market and vertical segments to align with CWA strategy.

  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting.

  • Manage and oversee the sales budget for the CWA Direct Sales teams.

  • Ensure the team is building a pipeline and hold the team accountable for executing each phase of the sales process to achieve sales quotas.

  • Recruit, develop and manage a high performing sales team.

  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to monitor customer, market and competitor activity to identify sales opportunities and to provide feedback to the company leadership team and other impacted stakeholders.

What we need from you:

  • High school diploma

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in the Merchant Services industry.

  • Minimum two (2) years sales leadership experience.

  • Direct Reports (In future): 5 - 10
  • Travel Requirements: 25%
