We are seeking an accomplished and results-oriented Senior Director Revenue Accounting and Operations reporting directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. This critical leadership role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our technical revenue, revenue accounting close and reporting cycles, and operational revenue functions that include collections and billing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record of scaling a revenue function at a high-growth technology company. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide leadership and team development: Mentor and manage the revenue accounting, technical revenue and operational order-to-cash teams, providing guidance on process, policy, and strategic initiatives.
  • Foster a customer-focused culture that delivers technical excellence.
  • Ensure the highest level of compliance with U.S. GAAP rules governing revenue recognition, ASC 606 for existing and new company level business models.
  • Contract and Deal Review: Lead complex contract reviews, ensuring revenue is structured and recognized accurately.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely month-end Revenue Accounting close and reporting process.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Billing, FP&A, and Legal teams to assess operational impact, risk, and scalability of revenue policies.
  • Provide oversight on documentation of all order-to-cash policies and technical accounting memos on revenue positions.
  • Partner with the SOX team to streamline and enhance current processes while ensuring compliance of all controls around revenue and related financial reporting metrics.
  • Own the process to provide revenue related reporting and disclosures for quarterly filings.
  • Work with external auditors to provide audit support and ensure that company revenue recognition interpretations are consistent and compliant with GAAP and all technical pronouncements.
  • Champion continuous improvement across order-to-cash processes utilizing both technology and best practices.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance/Accounting with CPA license
  • 15+ years experience that includes time within a Big 4 and and public companies in a high-growth environment and 5+ years in a leadership capacity
  • Expert in ASC 606, preferably applied within the software industry
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed business decisions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills as well as ability to effectively use accounting knowledge to collaborate, guide and interact professionally with a wide range of personnel at various levels within the organization to drive sound business decisions
  • Ability to effectively present information with confidence and accuracy to various levels of internal management and external auditors
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency with Workday Financials, CRM and billing software (e.g., Salesforce), and Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $202,000 USD - $270,200 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
