Role
The Senior Director of Connected Cloud will drive the strategy, development, and roll out of Grid SW’s Connected Cloud offering working across functions and report directly to the Chief Product Officer. Key responsibilities include:
- Defining the baseline connected cloud offering including customer value proposition, pricing, contracting, software delivery, and holistic customer experience
- Developing customer facing marketing materials on value proposition of the Connected Cloud offering
- Working with comms ops and the broader commercial team to:
- Develop the appropriate contracts and establish standard deal terms (such as term durations) to ease the transition to the new business model and facilitate tracking
- Revamp M&S contracts for perpetual licenses to bring entitlement in line with industry standards
- Working with commercial leadership to ensure the sales team is enabled and incentivized to sell the Connected Cloud offering
- Partnering with finance / controllership to ensure the baseline offering meets accounting criteria for achieving ratability of software revenue
- Developing a product by region roll-out plan consistent with Grid SW’s overall financial targets working with finance, commercial and product.
- Presenting the Connected Cloud value proposition to customers at events such as Orchestrate and during customer sales engagements
- Managing the Connected Cloud rollout including addressing issues and risks, and tracking KPIs and financials
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college with at least 8 years of experience in the job family
Additional Information
The base pay range for this position is 176,000.00 - 220,000.00. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is also eligible for a 20% Variable Incentive Bonus. This posting is expected to close on September 18, 2025.
*The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
