The Senior Director, Fintech Partnerships & Strategy is a highly visible, integral role contributing to the overall success and continued expansion of the company's embedded finance products. This role will focus on driving the Business and Partner/Vendor/Ecosystem Strategy for our fintech offering (e.g., payments, financing, lending, banking, etc.) across various trade verticals, segments, and geographies. The Senior Director will own the strategy, negotiation, and ongoing management of critical fintech partners, while also driving strategic operations and business clarity.

What you'll do:

Fintech Strategy & New Initiatives

  • Identify, evaluate, drive, and lead new and existing strategy initiatives focused on Fintech opportunities (e.g., payments, financing, lending, banking, etc.), typically enabled through partner and vendor relationships.

  • Contribute to the definition and development of fintech product/business strategy with the leadership team.

  • Collaborate with key cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Design, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Operations) to develop and validate solutions in the embedded fintech space.

  • Develop and present business cases with ongoing quantitative and qualitative analyses, customer validation, and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Work closely with leadership on strategic Fintech bets that have an outsized impact on the Trades space. 

  • Research and arm internal teams with business landscape knowledge of Fintech competitors, insights, and trends.
     

Fintech Partnership & Ecosystem Management

  • Develop partnership strategy, explore, source, negotiate or renegotiate agreements, and own ongoing management.

  • Drive Partner/Vendor/Ecosystem Strategy in alignment with the global fintech strategy.

  • Evaluate potential partner/vendor opportunities to power expansion products and services.

  • Own intake, management, and resolution of strategic partner and tri-party (internal/customer/partner) issues, and/or escalations related to fintech, serving as the key point contact for partner executive stakeholders.

  • Develop and manage future partner program management structure, internal tracking/tooling/process, standards terms, and performance measurement.
     

Strategic Operations & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Drive iterative/continuous improvements to fintech standard operating processes and procedures.

  • Responsible for consolidating and driving prioritization for strategic insights, operations, and analytics/data insights/reporting.

  • Serve as a key POC for FP&A, ops, and BI on KPI insights, forecasting/reforecasting process and reporting mechanisms.

  • Contribute standard monthly performance reporting, MBRs/QBRs, holding internal teams and external parties accountable to deliver data within SLAs along with strategic customer/partner rebate tracking and delivery.

  • Contribute to go-to-market strategy to launch or enhance fintech products.

What you'll bring:

  • 10+ years of work experience in consulting, strategy, or a similar role driving new growth initiatives cross-functionally, including 3+ years experience in financial technology, payments or embedded finance.

  • Subject matter expertise with payment processing (acquiring and issuing) and/or lending (consumer and business).

  • Familiarity with credit card interchange mechanics and payments value chain, as well as fundamentals of the lending business model.

  • Proven track record in partner relationship management at senior leadership levels, including sourcing, negotiating, and driving internal and external accountability for performance and compliance with contract terms.

  • Deep expertise conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis (high proficiency with spreadsheet tools and financial forecasting and modeling.

  • Demonstrated excellence in cross-functional collaboration, executive presence, and communication.

  • Ability to distill complex concepts into structured frameworks, clear and succinct memos, and concrete action plans.

  • Ability to thrive through ambiguity in a dynamic working environment; know how to balance velocity with appropriate depth and attention to detail.

  • Experience in B2B technology preferred.

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation.The expected salary range for this role for candidates residing in the United States is between $244,000 USD - $326,400 USD. Compensation for candidates residing outside the United States will vary by location and the specific salary range will be discussed during the hiring process. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
