The Senior Director, Business Development Marketing & Strategy will play a critical role in shaping how The Coca‑Cola Company partners with customers through forward‑thinking marketing strategy. This leader will support business development efforts across the FSOP landscape, helping the organization pursue growth opportunities while strengthening long‑term customer relationships. This role sits at the intersection of marketing, strategy, and commercial leadership. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of customer‑centric marketing, the ability to navigate complex business environments, and a passion for translating brand and marketing capabilities into meaningful partnership value.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Business Development Strategy

  • Lead marketing strategy in support of business development initiatives, helping position Coca‑Cola as a valued, differentiated partner
  • Translate customer insights and business objectives into relevant marketing approaches that support growth and long‑term partnership success
  • Serve as a strategic partner to internal business development leaders, providing marketing leadership across multiple initiatives

Customer Partnership & Engagement

  • Build strong, senior‑level relationships with customer stakeholders and industry partners
  • Help design and deliver compelling, customer‑first marketing concepts and narratives that demonstrate Coca‑Cola’s capabilities
  • Partner with internal and external teams to bring marketing strategies to life, from concept development through execution

Internal Enablement & Collaboration

  • Work cross‑functionally with brand, insights, digital, commercial, and other teams to ensure alignment and consistency in how marketing capabilities are applied
  • Support the development of scalable marketing approaches that can be adapted across different customers and business needs
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams navigating evolving customer expectations and market dynamics

Strategic Projects & Competitive Readiness

  • Lead cross-functional, high-impact strategic initiatives as competitive threats, category shifts, and customer needs evolve
  • Bring a thoughtful, solutions‑oriented mindset to ambiguous and complex business challenges
  • Help evolve best practices in how marketing supports customer partnerships over time
  • Translate complex marketing strategies into clear direction, alignment, and action across stakeholders

Qualification & Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience

Related Work Experience:

10+ years in marketing, agency or equivalent years of CPG experience, preferably with background/experience working with Foodservice customers.

  • Deep expertise in Customer Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Commercial Marketing, ideally within foodservice/hospitality
  • Proven ability to develop differentiated beverage partnership strategies, including experience with complex, multi-year customer relationships
  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to balance bespoke excellence and scalable impact
  • Executive-level communication, influence, and stakeholder leadership skills
  • Demonstrated success leading through ambiguity, change, and complexity
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills with a strong solution orientation
  • Skilled at orchestrating cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational leadership capabilities

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
