Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a dynamic Senior Director of Brand Marketing + Consumer Engagement to define and amplify the Thrive Causemetics brand across every consumer touchpoint. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our brand strategy and owning our PR, influencer, and organic social channels to elevate brand awareness, drive cultural relevance, and deepen emotional connection with our community.
This position is ideal for a brand leader who is both visionary and hands-on, with a deep understanding of storytelling, media, and community building in the beauty space. You will lead a high-performing team and collaborate cross-functionally to execute integrated brand campaigns that are bold, authentic, and purpose-led.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Define and lead the brand marketing strategy and calendar, ensuring alignment with product launches, key retail moments, and the Bigger Than Beauty™ mission.
- Own the 360° brand campaign architecture—including messaging frameworks, go-to-market storytelling, and channel planning—to drive consistency and breakthrough visibility.
- Develop creative briefs and partner with Creative and Product teams to deliver culturally relevant, mission-aligned campaign work.
- Lead the strategic development and execution of brand marketing initiatives that support Thrive Causemetics’ retail expansion, including in-store campaigns, retail media, co-branded launches, and omnichannel messaging.
- Oversee the integrated consumer engagement strategy, including: PR: Build and manage press relationships, lead brand storytelling efforts, and secure high-impact coverage in beauty, lifestyle, and purpose-driven media outlets.
- Organic Social: Guide content strategy, tone, and platform innovation across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging channels; ensure authentic engagement and community responsiveness.
- Influencer Marketing: Own influencer and brand ambassador programs end-to-end, including casting, content strategy, activations, and performance tracking.
- Drive brand buzz through earned media, social conversation, and influencer amplification—with a keen eye on cultural trends and community moments.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to awareness, engagement, reach, sentiment, and brand share of voice.
- Build and lead a team of brand, social, and influencer marketers—mentoring for growth and collaboration.
- Partner closely with Creative, Product Development, Ecommerce, CX, and Education to bring the brand to life across all consumer experiences.
- Work in lockstep with Performance Marketing to align messaging, content, and influencer strategies for full-funnel impact.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- 10+ years of experience in brand marketing or communications, including PR, influencer, and social media strategy; beauty industry experience preferred.
- Proven success building household-name brands and leading breakthrough storytelling across paid, earned, and owned channels.
- Experience leading brand and shopper marketing strategy in a retail environment, ideally in beauty, with a proven ability to build awareness and drive conversion in-store.
- Deep relationships with media and influencer communities, and fluency in evolving digital platforms.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to inspire teams and build alignment across departments.
- Metrics- and insight-driven mindset—equally comfortable with brand lift metrics and real-time content performance dashboards.
- Passionate about Thrive Causemetics’ mission and our commitment to purpose-driven beauty.
