We are looking for passionate, talented people who want to join us in our mission to inspire and educate men to be happier and healthier!

Jukebox is a fast-growing women’s personal care brand within the Dr. Squatch portfolio, redefining the category with bold, vibrant products made from natural, high-performance ingredients. Known for our iconic scents, creative storytelling, and unapologetic approach to self-expression, we create products that elevate the everyday while inspiring women to live more confidently and authentically.

This role will sit within the Dr. Squatch team and primarily support Jukebox, with select cross-brand exposure as we continue to scale.

About the Role:

The Senior Designer is a seasoned illustrator and packaging designer who will help define and bring the Jukebox brand to life across digital and physical touchpoints. With Jukebox’s recent visual rebrand, this is a unique opportunity to own the next chapter of brand expression — translating our bold identity into new categories, limited edition partnerships, and elevated customer experiences.

This role will lead packaging design and illustration across core launches and IP collaborations, while driving retail efforts including in-store displays and branded environments. Beyond retail, the Senior Designer will shape the brand across our DTC website, lifecycle marketing, and more — ensuring a cohesive and unmistakable presence everywhere we show up.

Working cross-functionally with Marketing and Product, this role will bring concepts to life through systemic artwork development, production-ready execution, color matching, and press checks.

This role will report to the Creative Director.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits, based in Marina Del Rey, CA, that requires 3 days per week at Dr. Squatch HQ.
The anticipated base compensation range for this role will be $80,000 to $95,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and local market rates.

What You'll Do:

  • Concept and develop innovative design solutions across packaging, retail, digital, and print touchpoints — applying strong hierarchy, systems thinking, typography, and bold visual storytelling.
  • Lead artwork development from concept through production in partnership with internal teams and external supply chain vendors.
  • Own packaging and retail execution including QA of physical samples, color swatches, press sheets, and in-store display materials.
  • Design and support DTC and lifecycle creative including PDP assets, website updates, email, and campaign collateral to ensure a cohesive brand experience.
  • Develop limited edition packaging, new category launches, and retail partnerships that extend and evolve the brand.
  • Create supporting materials such as sell sheets, product brochures, POS catalogs, and other retail enablement assets.
  • Maintain and evolve design systems across touchpoints, identifying efficiencies and improving workflows.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Packaging Engineering to ensure the brand shows up flawlessly on shelf, online, and at home.

About You:

  • At least 5+ years of proven experience in retail, advertising, and packaging design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design / Visual Communication, and owner of a diverse portfolio of design and illustration success
  • Adobe Creative Suite experience is required
  • Illustration expertise is required
  • Proven experience of the design and execution of custom advertising displays and packaging with domestic and overseas vendors
  • Strong understanding of dieline and package development
  • Comfortable with a rapidly evolving work environment, and experience with taking initiative in a scrappy start-up setting
  • Experience in the CPG industry is a plus
  • Experience with retail-specific display and packaging requirements is required
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A can-do attitude with a focus on team support and collaboration

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
