Work Location

This position is based onsite at our current Bell, CA office and will transition to our new Beverly Hills, CA headquarters in Q3 2026. Candidates must be able to commute to both locations.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Designer to lead creative women's design initiatives for our Club Division. This is a hands-on, leadership role ideal for someone with strong visual design instincts, expert-level execution, and an ability to balance creativity with commercial relevance. This position requires a deep understanding of the apparel lifecycle from concept to delivery, with a focus on packaging, presentation, and execution that exceeds buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design process across multiple product categories.

  • Independently own complex projects, from ideation through to production.

  • Provide creative strategy and present concepts to internal stakeholders and licensing partners.

  • Mentor and oversee junior designers; provide feedback and guidance on best practices.

  • Manage CAD sketches, construction details, tech packs, sourcing sheets, and BOMs.

  • Ensure all tech packs and design files are accurate and production-ready.

  • Guide fittings, review PP samples, and provide thoughtful feedback to tech/production.

  • Maintain and organize sample racks, design files, and approval trackers in PLM.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with merchandising, licensing, PD, and sales.

  • Photo/tag the line and prepare product shipments for buyers and licensors.

  • Create compelling trend and market analysis reports to support sales presentations.

  • Oversee market sample prep, fabric and trim boards, and showroom setup.

  • Provide clear construction direction to patternmakers and sewers.

Preferred Experience & Skills

  • 8 - 12+ years of experience in women's apparel design.

  • Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, and PLM systems.

  • Strong understanding of fabric, trim, and garment construction.

  • Proficient in color theory, trend forecasting, and market insights.

  • Effective communicator and cross-functional collaborator.

  • Leadership experience with the ability to develop and mentor junior designers.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage shifting priorities and timelines.

COMPENSATION

At FAM Brands, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation. Salary ranges for positions are based on job level, location, and market data. We offer competitive benefits and are dedicated to equal pay for equal work. Specific salary offers depend on each candidate’s qualifications and experience. FAM Brands also offers all employees participation in our annual bonus program (Non-Sales) or commission program (Sales).
