Within this role they focus on roadmap evaluation and consolidation, planning for design, content and accessibility, identifying intersection points in the client and design journey as well as providing and creating education opportunities to allow for a more seamless design process.

In this role, you will:
- Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within design area and contribute to largescale planning related to Design Programs
- Review and analyze moderately complex business, operational, or technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
- Develop and execute design solutions for projects, customer experience solutions by employing a broad array of user centered design tools
- Analyze relevant internal and external sites and consult standards and guidelines as well as policies to determine best practices
- Independently resolve moderately complex issues to meet project, process deliverables
- Leverage solid understanding of the Design programs, policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals, lead projects, teams or serve as a mentor for less experienced level staff
- Execute long tail roadmaps identifying opportunities for Strategy, Discovery and Design Delivery
- Manage day-to-day operations and allocation or one or more design teams
- Identify and provide education on current processes or develop new net processes meeting company standards to fill gaps in current processes
- 4+ years of Design Programs experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Prior experience as a Design Project Manager
- Proactive problem solver with a bias toward execution and a strong sense of urgency: demonstrated track record of getting things done, while building bridges, despite the obstacles in their way
- Proven track record in Lean UX & Agile delivery environments
- Ability to energize and motivate others; thrives in teams; highly inclusive and collaborative with proven ability to lead through influence vs. authority
- Comfortable with ambiguity and able to shape and drive work independently
- Experience with Jira, Confluence and other project management tools
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
- This position is a hybrid work model. Must be willing to work out of the Charlotte, NC or San Francisca, CA office approximately 3 days a week
- Charlotte, NC: $100,000 - $163,000
- San Francisco, CA: $120,000 - $196,000
