Description:
Leverage advanced knowledge of information science to assist in designing, developing, and testing of the Company’s software products.
Specific duties include:
- Configure the Company’s technical software platform used by its customers to meet their technical needs.
- Work on the Company’s software products to ETL data and perform FHIR validation.
- Deploy the Company’s new technical offering, including the new payer and provider solutions for use by customers.
- Collaborate with data engineering, API, implementation, and customer success teams to ensure technical software deliverables are met according to the respective project plan.
- Deploy, utilize, and work to enhance tools created by the software engineering and data teams.
- Mentor, coach, and encourage junior software engineers to inspire professional and technical growth.
- Research and stay informed of emerging technologies, trends, and FHIR updates to suggest leading improvements to the Company’s existing software implementation processes.
- Serve as a technical escalation point for team members troubleshooting technical issues and implement and document team best practices to avoid such issues.
May telecommute 100% of the workweek from any U.S. location
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or directly related quantitative field plus two (2) years of relevant professional software and data engineering experience. Experience must include each of the following, which may be gained concurrently:
Two (2) years of experience with ETL Software development processes;
Two (2) years building and maintaining scalable batch and streaming data pipelines;
Two (2) years’ experience assisting with software process improvement and new product integration efforts;
Two (2) years of experience using relational SQL, NoSQL, Spark, EMR, and AWS infrastructure including DynamoDB, Athena/Glue, Lambda, and EC2.
