EverCommerce is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our Payments Analytics team and provide valuable insights to the Payments Organization and Executive Leadership Team (ELT). This role focuses on analyzing payment data to identify trends, uncover growth opportunities, and implement cost-saving measures while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

As a Senior Data Analyst, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with the Payments Organization to define analytical requirements and document key business needs for delivery and prioritization.
  • Collaborating with the Central Data Team to establish data pipeline specifications to facilitate robust analysis.
  • Examining payment transaction, product utilization data to detect patterns, performance gaps, and optimization strategies to grow the adoption and utilization of digital payments and fintech solutions across EverCommerce solutions.
  • Providing executive leadership with data-driven analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards in BI tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor key performance indicators across various the various functional teams (Sales, Success, Marketing, and Operations).
  • Creating analytical models to assess processing costs, revenue streams, and profit margins across payment channels.
  • Identifying cost-reduction strategies by analyzing interchange fees, chargebacks, and payment processing expenses across multiple processors and data streams.
  • Working with finance and operations teams to ensure financial efficiency and payment optimization.
  • Assessing pricing models and payment solutions in collaboration with product and strategy teams.
  • Ensuring data accuracy and integrity by working closely with data engineers to enhance pipeline reliability.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 4+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in payments, fintech, or financial services.
  • Proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Expertise in BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, or Tableau for visualization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Experience working with payment data, including residual, interchange, and transaction-level analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in requirements gathering and documentation, ensuring alignment between business needs and data solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Where: This is a remote, US based position, some travel required for quarterly events and on-sight partner meetings. The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 to 120,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
